    Did you notice anything different by doing this upgrade? I’m looking to do this on my ‘22 L5P that I use for hotshot business and seems like the truck is starving for air. I’m also looking into doing the banks ram air as well. I need my upgrades to work not look good. This is my first Duramax that we bought with 25 miles on it. It’s my new old truck now. Started our hotshot business 6 months ago with 8,700 miles. It just rolled 76k yesterday. The L5P with 10 speed transmission is a beast. Almost every is 25k loads.
    Funny you spoke about Duramax like eating sockets. I lost but found and recovered my 10mm with extension twice cleaning my MAP sensor. Once last night which took me forever to find and the first time about 5 months ago. This is a must thing to do. I do this weekly.

    Just found your videos. Awesome content. I have banks ram air intake. At 13:50 the air filter is sticking out of the housing. Is this because the turbo horn is shorter than the factor? Did you notice a loud scouring sucking sound after install? I have this loud sucking noise anytime I get into the throttle and boost builds up. To the point I hear it over thr radio when the windows are up. It's an obnoxious sound. I've checked my clamps on the banks Ram Air and see no where for air to leak by. Is it the air rushing by the air gaps at the end of the intake horn?

    • @linksgarage1985
      @linksgarage1985  Před 2 lety

      A noise that noticeable sounds like it may be a boost leak. When I had just the intake horn and the Banks ram air, I did not have any noise like that.
