Thought I would let you know - I'm a 47 yo woman who started skating 5 weeks ago thanks in part to your car park video!! - I am now riding at least 30 mins a day.. Am getting very comfortable riding regular and switch, and can now do a little manual, get up a kerb, and do a tailstop to primo? and a couple of other non ollie tricks! - I love your videos - they have inspired me - and as well as anything else: I feel fitter - I love the clothes - I love the lifestyle and it's totally worth all of the bruises and cuts I have!

I got myself mountainboard couple months ago. Most difficult part is to learn how to control speed and break effectively. It might by hardest board-sport to master and feel comfortable. Gnarly 🤘

I shattered the growth plate in my left ankle and it's pretty much taken any notion of skateboarding out of my life for the last 5 years, but these videos have recently inspired me to attempt some very unorthodox methods of gaining ankle mobility again.

I have been watching braille skateboarding for a while. The channels content is so amazing and when I first started skating I used some tutorials from this channel and I dont normally get so into content where I watch for months but when i saw a video where they skated s tv I thought it was so cool that I bought my own board and wanted to learn more but it was too hard but these guys are so enjoyable and entertaining that I dont lose interest and keep practicing, I'm not the best skater but with a little hope and confidence I believe I can get better.

Personally think it's more like a snowboard with wheels you can use in the park, on street or even down the mountain. I think as a veteran boarder I could actually catch on rather quickly and be fairly decent on one of those as it's basically the same as being strapped into a snowboard, zero skill required to Ollie and no worries about flip tricks. Definitely looks to be fun, but still would probably prefer skateboarding

they didnt really go to the mountain boarding terrain. imagine big kickers on the dirt slopes.. Mountainboards shine the most in their own terrain... everything in this video seemed kind of slow going... That dude probably could bust out some 15 foot method off a proper jump..

is there any sort of cushion or suspension on those things? or does the little bit of cushion come from the rubber wheels? i remember when these boards first kind of came out years ago.
Hmmmm good question
The decks are a wood/fiberglass composite that flexes like suspension. I've literally jumped off my roof to flat several times and it holds up nicely.

If you can't control it then yes, be afraid, be very afraid. But you should get to a point where you are super confident that the board is going to go where you want it to and then man GO FAST AND COMMIT!

@@Roblox_adict I feel the same Jayden - Braille have a video on stopping and there are tons of different ways. - The two things that helped me were learning to keep my front foot in a position where I could just bail out and run away with my back foot first.. and skate shoes! - Not sure if they'll help - but they seem a bit less instant stop than my old trainers - for example when I am trying to stop with my shoe over my tail to slide on my back foot in a tail slide thing.
