Digimon 02 to me has always been a goldmine for what ifs and fanfic ideas and scenarios since the main plots had so many loose ends and so much potential for the characters that werent really realised so thank you for doing these sort of videos I cant believe I havent found you before.

To be completely honest, I think that Reliability and Sincerity represent Cody rather well. Alternatively, I think that Knowledge and Love represented Yolie better.
Yolei is def a knowledge girlie through and through. Could not agree more!
Personally, I feel having Butenmon being the DNA digivolution of Tortamon and Bureimon would've matched a bit better. Taking the heavy armor of Tortamon to make the armor of Butenmon. It has the warlord personality with Yolei who's headstrong and takes charge whenever she needs to when Davis isn't available. While also keeping the samurai theme from Cody. Buten is Burei's natural evolution, but I feel it could still work. Chronomon being the mega works so well cuz it invokes the Valkiryemon aesthetic. Of course this is personal opinion. Im definitely subscribing :D

@@Numanuma282 The only counter point I can see is that it leans too much on Cody. Nothing is perfect. Also why not in this what if make TK the leader anyway? Make a fake out where people think Davis is the leader cuz of the goggles. But he will admit he isn't cut out like TK is. Magnamon fits TK so much better for that holy light. Rhinomon as the miracles just feels weird to fight against Kimeramon xD
Great lines, honestly. In this version, everyone got their Ultimates in the second-to-last episode of 02, while the Mega was unlocked post-Kizuna. With T.K. and Kari being expectations, they got theirs in Tri like usual.
For Davis's Ultimate and Mega Levels: Aegiochusmon Holy and Jupitermon.
For Ken's Mega Level: Lilithmon recolor.
For Cody's Ultimate and Mega Levels: Crowmon and Ravemon.
For Yolei's Ultimate and Mega Levels: Megadramon and Darkdramon.
For T.K.'s Mega Level: Durandamon
For Kari's Mega Level: QueenBeemon
I would wonder how the TK/Davis amd Kari/Ken swaps would work. Do TK and Kari find Veemon and Wormmon in Adventure, or do they swap partners somehow in the transition to 02?
I would have swapped veemon and wormon between Ken and Davis because tk and Kari swapping out the original partners from season one doesn’t make sense. But the still change who DNAs together. I like the idea of Tk being the leader. And I was disappointed with Tk and Cody’s DNA result.

TK should have been the google head but for me Kari should have been the google head especially since she is related to tai because to me the digimon emperor should have been TK because this kinda would have made the story a bit more interesting but of course it’s still just my opinion.
I would have the Digi evolution for the DG of knowledge change the black to yellow incorporate the color of the egg or have the black be red and the red be yellow don’t forget to add the symbol somewhere
I don’t think **elephantmon** is a fit, I’m joking, cool concept.

@@pn2294 that’s precisely why I did. I felt their friendship provided a solid basis for their DNA Digivolution. The other pairing felt random and, in Yolei & Kari’s case specifically, felt driven solely by “they’re the girls”. That being said I don’t dislike them but for this video I wanted to swap everything around. Of course this is all just my personal opinion so there is no right or wrong answer here. Thanks for the feedback!
@@Numanuma282 all of the pairings in the OG series were “New - Old”. It forced each of the characters out of their comfort zones which is important for character growth
Yolei is a very flighty character, so her being forced to help Kari overcome her trauma is natural progression.
In turn, Kari and T.K. comfort Yolei and Cody respectively when they’re forced to kill people.
@@pn2294 again, no wrong answers here. I personally didn’t care for the originally DNA pairings but I understand why it worked. Plus, the whole point of this video was to swap things around, this included the DNA pairings for me. You do bring up solid points though so thanks for letting me know your thoughts :)
It is interesting how you changed triceramon into elephantmon and recolored and renamed it into trunkmon.
You made it have LESS sense, (the opposite of what you are supposed to)
and the fact you essentially made a variant of the digimon to justify your choice is proof enough on how little it makes sense.
Veemon new evolution line makes little sense as well.
Not only does the veedramon line exist, but it can be GOLD COLORED as well.
Let's not forget that you seemingly made yourself a hypocrite in this video.
You have instances of digimon that you changed for another digimon because you didn't like them AND instances of you keeping digimon despite you not liking them.

It was in no way meant to be a critical examination of digivolution lore I was just having fun with a power point presentation. I’m sorry that you did not enjoy my content and can only suggest watching a different creator like Karn EX for more in depth videos with deeper research and even custom art at times.

I understand that.
It just bugged me that you changed stuff that ended up making less sense.
I get wanting to make unique digimon lines and I love the idea of making variants of digimon so they better fit the role you want it to fill.
(I have seen no other digimon youtuber do that before)
But usually when people do that, they tend to struggle to find digimon that match what they are going for because they want it to be unique.
when in some cases, the answer already exist so there is no point in struggling.
For example Veemon.
Not only does it have a digivolution line that goes to ultimate in the veedramon line.
But that veedramon that has it's own variant that is gold colored.
There was no need to search for a digimon that could fit the gold holy theming for veemon when the gold variant of the veedramon line could work.
@@chasetanner4822 I did actually consider Veedramon Gold but I have lowkey always disliked Veedramon Gold since it has no actual armor and is just a recolor listed as an armor. However, I definitely see why it would’ve made 100% sense to use. Sometimes the weird and nonsensical side of Digimon is my favorite so when I have lines that only make sense in weird reaches it’s like my own homage to our weird and whimsical series that we all love lol

You know how Veedramon gold is much rarer than normal veedramon in the digital world?
What if the gold color isn't skin colored gold but a veedramon covered in gold?
If veedramon is covered in gold then you could considered it as armoured.
It could also explain why it is so rare when compared to normal veedramon.
Besides veedramon isn't a digiegg evolution.
It is alternative digivolution line to Veemon.
Then again, since the veedramon line goes all the way to mega and Veemon line only goes to champion, the veedramon line could be veemon's actual digivolution line and exveemon is single stage branch off from the line.
