- In this video I am taking my first look at a Wizzard Fusion chassis and comparing it to a similar spec Viper chassis.
A big thanks to Steven John Crossland from Rooster Racing for building me the Fusion chassis.
Heeeeeeeeey. @12:20. Very funny!!!😂😂😂. I appreciate that sir!
When I saw i had a pink body in my draw I knew I had to use it and thought of you....lol
Thanks for the comparison, shootout and test on track!!!! Thanks for sharing your insights!!!!!!!!!🏎🏁😎🤟👍
My pleasure, thanks for checking out my video!
Hi Mark.....Adam Hurte sent me ... off of Pro Tinker s livestream. Nice Channel ... new to the hobby but I,m not a Youngster lol see ya round Jim. haven't delved into Viper or Jag DR1... yet. I can see you are deep into the hobby by seeing your tools , testers ... see ya
Hi Jim, thanks for stopping by. Yeah I was like you only a little over a year ago and look at me now....lol If you have any questions let me know.
Thanks Mark
I would say even thou the fusion turn the most 2.5s and even a 2.4, it lost due to several de-slots as compared to zero for the Viper pro spec car, lol 😂. Also, great point about the prices. Wizzard could sell more cars if they could improve on the price. Never heard back on the mega g + motor mod? Take care and keep up the good videos
I agree with you there, I was pretty happy with how my Viper Spec Racer handled. Remind me about the Mega G motor mod.
Thanks for the info!
Thanks for stopping by.
Great watch buddy !
Thanks Tom!
Great information. Thank you.
Thanks!
Good info good job
Thanks!
I think some tweaking could probably shave off the difference between the custom Fusion and the hot Viper so honestly I can't see how the price of the fusion can be justified. And, just from looking at the two chassis closely, it's obvious to me that the molding of the Viper product is more crisp and sharply defined. Gives me the impression that the material the Viper is molded from is a higher quality material even with the lower price point.
You are getting good times on that Viper track.
Thanks, and I agree the Viper chassis seems more mature and I like the multiple options Viper has on the stiffness of their chassis.
Some foam around that edge wouldn't hurt 👌
Thanks! Which edge are you talking about?
Here is a fun project, saw this on rooster racing. Let me just say that every time I do a paste and copy here, it doesn't stay posted on CZcams, that is why you can't see or find my 3 posts on this subject. Back to the project. Can the Mega G+ be made to outrun a $45.00 Viper V-1 V-spec with only around $10.00 worth of hop-up parts?
This racer ordered an FK-N20 mini drone motor (less than $2), same size as mega G+ N20 but with over 32,800 rpms at just 3.7v and almost 44,000 at 5v. Again, it's the FK-N20 with large cooling hole in the metal motor case. (I would double check the armature shaft length) He also doubled stacked N52 traction magnets and added .450 silicone tires out back. He claims that this car will eat a $45 Viper V1 slot car. Sounds like a fun project that I thought you might would be interested in. So, the question is, can the Mega G+ really be made to outrun a V1?
Someone else just posted the same thing. I saw this same guys post on Rooster Racing and even commented on it. I may have to give this a try and see how fast the car really is with the FK-N20 motor. Thx.
For the mega g+ mod, please see you life like post. Thank you!
Will do!
I considered getting one of these but i couldn’t commit to another chassis and parts to support it … and I need 2 to run on my track if others come over lol 😂 so for $300 I can build a few vipers … I do like the chassis tho
Thanks, and I agree the prince point is too high.
Hi MSCG..if you don't like building buy one(only)the price is depreciated by the amount of fun you have. So do wizards cars use a body clip system to run different manufacturers bodies?
Definitely if you have the budget go for it. I did not see the value of the Fusion compared to a similar spec Viper at half the cost. As far as I know there is no body clip for the Fusion.
I think its just like real racing. How fast do you want to go? How much money do you have? lol. All it takes is cubic dollars. It was interesting. Your test procedures are solid. Thats one heckova thud when those things come off. Ouch! 👍👍😎🇺🇸
Thanks, and yes they hit hard...lol good thing I have foam padding.
Cubic dollars, good one..
nice observations ..how would i send you a pic id have a question for you
Thanks John, you can email me at marksslotcargarage@gmail.com.
Ever compare AFX ?, just to see how much the difference is.
Which AFX? The new Mega Plus cars?
@@marksslotcargarage yes, I looking at investing beyond AFX, wizard and fusion are pricey
@@johnrivard2857You really can't compare the AFX Mega G Plus to the Viper or Fusion, they are far superior. Next step up from AFX would be Bulldog or Jag, they are a good balance of performance and cost. The Base Viper VSPEC would be next after them.
Thanks for info

got a URL for Rooster Racing??
Rooster Racing is a Facebook page. You should be able to search for them on Facebook.
URL for Quicker ENG?
I don't have a URL for them, I am hoping Steven Crossland from Rooster Racing who build the chassis can help us with that. I will reach out to him.
You can get the Quicker Engineering parts from Lucky Bob's or direct from Rooster Racing.
Viper or wizard both good cars but the wizard is pretty spendy and the Vipers not❤
Agree 100%! Well Vipers are a little spendy...lol
Those things are rockets
Yeah for a 6 ohm motor they run almost as fast as my 3 ohm Vipers! Fun car to drive and they handle well.
Not much drivin with those magnets
Thanks, there is actually more driving than you think when it comes to club racing these cars. But yes they have strong magnets.

I saw that post and was thinking about trying one of those motors. I may just have to give this a try. Thanks.
Used my other CZcams name to try and post this. Looks like "myflash43" earlier post stayed up to now? Any way, sorry for the extra post. Slotcarjames43 and myflash43 are both mine.
