    Very good explenation. In my experience, training both "ways" making the best results. Our new students always have some problems holding the stick in a functional way, until I put them a sword into the hand and they realise that the "sharpe" side should be pointed to the opponent.

    Thnx for the knowledge guru,& a good explanation.I've been doing both in a good way in a best results from stick to ginunting,but I'm satisfied of doing tricks on the stick but the blade is not good for a trick😅,only strikes,I'll get wounded If I did a small mistakes 😂
