    For getting adhesive residue off of the car or spoiler (post spoiler removal), I HIGHLY recommend a 3M stripe wheel. Works wonders without damaging the paint. Don't have to spend all that time rubbing it off with a towel.

      Did it mess up the paint enough for the dealership to make a fuss? Did the paint look the same under as the rest of the body since it wasn’t exposed to the sun as long?

    Hello mate, fitted one yesterday with some 3M tape provided by the seller (there wasn't loads, so it's not completely covered). Was there any "flex" with yours or was it rock solid? Mine doesn't seem to sit completely flush (you can see light gaps through it, worried it will fly off when I'm driving.

    • @carlubetv
      @carlubetv  Před 4 lety

      bcwlstd hi mate, mines rock solid, you could hang off it, did you watch my fitting vid? If not look in my how to playlist, You probably need to get some more 3m tape and refit it it seem loose.

    • @bcwlstd6718
      @bcwlstd6718 Před 4 lety

      @@carlubetv thought that might be the case. Yes just watched it this morning - annoyingly I have an E93 too and yours is the best quality fitting video I've seen, should have watched it before.
      Nightmare! Will look to take it off this afternoon. Perhaps not rock solid yet because it hasn't "set" completely? Also rained a little last night, think that might have gotten into the gaps and maybe stopped the tape from sticking.

    WD40 left to soak in it works very well. Just soak a rag in WD40 leave it on the sticky stuff for 10 mins, come back and it turns to jelly and wipes off :)
