John's Voice channels The Postal Dude's Optimism. And all of them work. RWS couldn't have got anyone else better than these four to be the voices of everyone's favorite society shunning grade A psycho.... if you piss him off that is.

He displays postal dudes awkwardness in a different way I feel like a better word is Un-likability or Dysfunctionality. He displays anti social mannerisms in his speech, tone and delivery. His voice sounds overacted, delusional, out of place and inconsistently upbeat as if he’s dissociated from reality or something. Jon’s voice depicts perfectly why the Postal dude is frowned upon, dysfunctional and not well liked. He’s an unhinged outcast of society. It adds on to why people don’t like him and he hates people. His voice says it all!

While Rick will always be my fave, cause Nostalgia, but I feel each VA perfectly captures different aspects of the Dude’s personality. It’s like all these voices have always been in his head and you get to choose which comes out.
I like how they all put a different tone into the “You’ve gotta be f***ing kidding.” line. The first one is disbelief, the second is annoyance (likely due to The Dude’s inability to complete the task fully), the third is whinging (calling out the unfairness of a structural failure being invisible), and the last is just sheer bewilderment at such a phenomenon.
Joking aside, Peter Glantz still voices movies and games, and helps bloggers with voice acting. He would have agreed to voice it again without any problems.
The fact you can choose who voices dude is one of the best features of the game, and something i don't think I've EVER seen a game do before, this is fan service done RIGHT and it ads some replay value because you'll get to hear the other dude's voices on subsequent play thrus !
Something I just noticed in this scene is that when Postal Dude goes "You got to be fucking kidding?", you could faintly see his wide eyed reaction through his sunglasses where as most of the time they completely kept them hidden. This little attention to detail makes this scene all the more funnier with it being one or the few times we get to see the Dude's reaction without his shades completely obstructing them
Oh shit i cant believe they got zack ward on this..hope hes doing ok. Heard he fell onto hard times but seeing him on the recent christmas story movie made me smile
I'm happy RWS didn't just axe the voiceover from Jon St. John in favor of Rick Hunter or Corey Cruise or even Zack Ward. gives you a lot more variety and can make each playthrough different. plus, this will be quite the food for my headcanon.

Jon St John Dude’s voice reminds me a whole lot of Gary Chalk, the guy who voices Optimus Primal from the Beast Wars Transformers show, I freaking love it. I love every voice for dude, it all fits him, even Zach ward, it’s like each voice represents each part of him, they’re really all just amazing. when I get the game, I’m definitely gonna replay multiple times for each Dude, they give me so much joy.
i think it would be cool if each voice actor had unique voice lines for non scripted things like killing and stuff where they have slightly different reactions and personalities, it would make the different voice choices much more interesting
I love all the voices equally, but I think Jon got the tone right on this one. Just the way he says "What invisible structure failure??" so childishly is so satisfying to me
Its good to see all 3 as well as the one from the movie, good to see hes actually good at voice acting too. Thank you RWS for spending the extra and putting the effort in getting all 4 voices all because the fans were split. Good seeing game companies go the extra mile for small things like this in the fanbase.
No series other then postal could juggle so many different interpretations of the main character so well. Postal games have always had a lot of dumb crude jokes in them but there by no means made incompetently or by dump people (except postal 3 may it burn forever)
Rick Hunter is my absolute favourite postal dude but I adore so much that RWS invested the time and money to let players choose which voice actor they wanted to experience the game with and that all four of them were cool enough to take part! All four of them and RWS are legends! Love you all!
