Orthodoxy (proper belief) comes before Orthopraxy (proper behavior. A person is going to behave according with their belief system. Doctrine is the stanchion that supports that theology.
It's easy to misunderstand things based on our own judgements.
False teaching is important in scripture. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15, Romans 16:17-18, Galatians 1:6-9, Colossians 2:8, 1 Timothy 4:1-3, 6:3-5, 2 Timothy 4:1-5, Titus 1:9-16, 2 Peter 2, and Jude are just some of the verses that speak about it. If we truly study these verses (and all of scripture), we will be able to discern the truth from the lies.

It is true that people were already turning away from the truth in Paul's day.
Today, we see that false religion is now mainstream in most Christian churches.
The false church denies the power of the Holy Spirit to deliver us from sin. False ministers deny the power of the Holy Spirit to transform us to righteousness. They teach that the spirit will struggle with the flesh until we die, and that there is no remedy for this condition.
In truth, we do not have both the Holy Spirit and the flesh nature. We only have one or the other.
Jesus wins the battle for us when we are Born Again. Scripture says:
Colossians 2:11
"In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ."
Jesus cuts away the flesh when we receive the Holy Spirit, and we lose sinful desires.
The Apostle Paul confirms this:
Galatians 5:24
"And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires."
We dont have both the Holy Spirit and the flesh nature. Scripture tells us so:
Romans 8:9
"But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you."
Everyone who dies while still in their flesh has not been born again. Scripture tells us that sinning Christians are guaranteed to end up in hell:
Romans 8:13
"For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live."
Jesus only gives the Holy Spirit to those who are obedient. Scripture tells us so:
Acts 5:32
"We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”
The Apostle John who was taught by Jesus face to face agrees with these things.
1 John 3:9
"Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."
God’s grace does not free us to sin. It frees us from sin.
Romans 6:18
"You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness."
The "Lord´s Recovery" or "Local Church" teaches that their founder, Witness Lee, was God´s unique appointed minister of the age. They claim Witness Lee interpreted the whole Bible accurately and apart from him and his ministry you cannot really understand the Bible. They even say it's dangerous to read the Word of God directly because you will misunderstand it, so you need a qualified teacher´s interpretation, who is only Witness Lee and his ministry.
The apostle Paul knew what's going to happen after is departing from his disciples. Shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock!!! In the beginning of the Church Age many disciples left the flocks but some who stayed among the flock who were already among them were wolves in sheep clothing working on how they could stay in these flocks of disciples, babes students of the Word and not saved born again from above yet believers!!! So the only way they could stay with the flocks unknowingly was to keep preaching the truth of scriptures like the true Church members! And here we are today doing the same thing. Except by now and for past generations and centuries al I see and hear in the physical bodied Church in the public are all or mostly all apostate churches!!! And for sure on CZcams and Facebook except I only could find a handful sites on CZcams who are born again from above believers. Especially Jonathan Kleck site who was chosen to be our Father in Heaven's Messenger and Prophet very near the End of the Church Age when Christ returns for His Bride, the true Church!!!
According to our apostle paul’s ministry in The King James Bible,we are only saved by believing The Gospel of Jesus Christ,1st Corinthians Chapter 15 verse 1-4.Jesus Christ died on the cross,shed His Blood for all of our sins,was buried and rose again on the third day.Jesus Christ Shed Blood is what saves you when you believe this plan of salvation with your heart.
RC has false doctrine in his teachings, infant unbeliever baptism. I am not interested in what he has to say if he could not get this right.
So who determines what is good theology and bad theology?
And what prove do we have that all theology is just not a load of codswallop?
Amen & Amen!! The reasoning I believe is because too many people are entangled in RELIGION and not Christianity ( Christ like) walking!
As Jesus, Paul fully understood the magnitude and utter importance of the gospel of Christ, ( The 4 gospels) and true salvation which is to be as Christ like as possible or to strive for that mark and not the man made religions that separate the true followers of Jesus Christ! I am a independent Baptist by my religion, but that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for me with yesusha!! ITS being a true DECIPLE of Christ through his blood, resurrection, cross, and yes the trinity and my daily walk of being saved by his grace through faith and his free gift of salvation that makes me his child, and not a religion, or works of laws!

Paul did understand the magnitude and utter importance of the gospel. Paul’s letters are quoted out of context all the time. Because of this, very few people follow Jesus. Most Christians follow the churches twisted understanding of Paul. Because of this, you are following a man made religion.
Baby baptism is a false doctrine? Repent and be baptized is for a believing Christian. Not for unregenerate, unrepentant nonbelievers. This is the one thing that keeps me from these reformed churches. Approving of false conversions?

So, this explains all the traditional Sunday keeping without a command. It's a tradition of men, embracing false doctrine.
It also explains why Christianity is not under one roof.
Jesus most definitely commands the Church to gather. We see the early church gathering on Sunday in the Book of Acts, and also Hebrews 10:25 is a quick and easy one to look at. Please study the new testament and you will find the importance of going to Church. It is essential to our Christian walk. Blessings!

You didn't cite the scripture in Acts, because that scripture, specifically says, it's the apostles, meeting to, BREAK BREAD, not turn God's holy law on it's head. When you cited H.10:25
you left out verse 26, which mentions, a pesky entity, called truth.
I have studied the new testament, and if you have, how, did you miss Matthew 4:4, after all, it's the very beginning of Christ's ministry.

@@eltonron1558 i thought you were saying that Church gathering was not important. Forgive me for misunderstanding your initial comment. However , I still disagree with you about Sabbath. You cannot disagree with scripture itself :
"Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ." (Col.2:16)
"One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind." (Romans 14:5) .
Christians can keep Sabbath if they desire to do so. But it is NOT a command. Do not twist the scriptures and Jesus' ministry. It has nothing to do with Sabbath, it is about the atonement and the forgiveness of sins. Matthew 19:17 does not say we have to obey the Sabbath. Yes, we should keep the commandments, but Jesus makes sure to let us know the greatest one: Love your neighbor and Love God. Blessings to you.
@@eltonron1558 Also, no Christians do not desire to obey the 10 commandments. They desire to know Christ. The emphasis is not on the Law, it is on Christ. Keeping the Law is legalism. We keep the commands of Christ because we love him. And we are no longer under the Old Law.

If you are not experiencing the things that I related above then you certainly do not know God or scripture and you are deceived in the things that you are believing. God intended everyone to have these blessings in their life and this is the reason that He sent Jesus into this evil fallen world. Jesus died on the cross so that there would now be forgiveness for our sins and a way for us to overcome them. This is the blessing that Jesus provided for all of mankind through His sacrifice and I know firsthand since I am living the life that I related above. So if your life is nothing like the one that I mentioned above then It is either because you lack knowledge of scripture and you allowed false prophets to fill your head with their utter nonsense or you simply do not believe that it is possible and so you have blasphemed the Spirit of truth with your ignorance and your unbelief.

My journey began by discovering how to communicate with Jesus through testing the Spirits as commanded in 1 John 4. I then went through seven hard years of discipline from God as Jesus taught me how to overcome my sins. God calls this process sanctification and it is how God’s purifies our heart in His word and truth. Very few people will ever experience sanctification in this lifetime and this is why Jesus instructed me to do some videos that relate what He has taught me and reveal what most are overlooking in regards to God and scripture. Jesus also warned me how the majority of believers will not believe what I am relating since most are exactly like the misguided believers who also came against Him. So if you are not rejoicing at what I am relating here then you clearly possess a hardened heart and you certainly are deceived in your beliefs. Somewhere you fell for the nonsense and the lies that are spoken by the many false prophets of this wicked world and you are one of the many who are traveling a road that only leads to destruction.

So if you are someone who can get sick or you currently have a sickness or disability in your life then you clearly are a sinner who is lost and deceived in your beliefs. Sickness is a curse from God and it is a warning sign that you are disobeying God and that you lack knowledge of His word and truth. Do not believe me then read Deuteronomy 28:15-68 and it will certainly prove my point.
Psalm 107:17. “Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.”
Know what this scripture means? First transgression, it means an act that goes against a rule, a law or a code of conduct. Next iniquity, it means a wicked act or thing, sin. Finally, affliction, it means something that causes persistent pain or suffering. Translated it is saying that you are a fool if you do not follow God’s laws and commands and you go and sin because you will then have pain, suffering and sickness.
So if you try to disprove what I am relating then you are proving to me that you are an unbeliever who is denying the blessing that Jesus provided for all of mankind. It will also tell me that you have blasphemed the Spirit of truth and you have condemned your soul in the process. So no matter how much you may claim that you believe in Jesus it will prove to me that you certainly do not even know Jesus and this is why I will not even waste my time going back and forth with you. I will simply respond with a single verse from scripture and it will certainly prove that you are an unbelieving child of Satan.

And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.”
