I can't help but find it more than a little unfair that a vote to kick someone can have a 4:5 yes-to-no ratio and you can still get kicked.
In contrast, can literally get a 4:3 on a 24-person server and get "not enough people voted 'yes'." Voting system is broke.
I think it's mostly a positive when it comes to kicking cheaters or bots in parties but when it comes to real players you're right
And yet 5:1 votes will end up failing to kick a bot from a casual server, because... reasons???
Im a f2p and once i got vote kicked with 1 to 6 (yes-no) that thing is really fucked

there are some idiotic people, just recently i got kicked because i was swapped to the team of a cheater who was claiming anyone on my previous team was cheating... and the reason he kicked me was because i called him out on wall hacks because he instantly hit some one the second he stepped out of cover
the worst part... him and some people who denied the fact they were friends with him kept trying to kick me, and people kept voting no, but the reason the kick went through was because eventually people got sick of the vote being called and just voted yes to shut him up... rather than voting for him

A Trolldier can kill a FTP Sniper a dozen times, but if he dies once, he will piss and moan the rest of the match.
Dude literally any time I go out of ctf and play pl, cp, or koth, it's always the same thing. Like these guys can shit talk all they want, but as soon as I get a kill on them as sniper or scout they lose their minds. Ridiculous.

The VoteKick went through Because a Premium player (who can text and voice chat) called a vote on a free to play player (f2p), votekicks called on F2Ps can go through even though the vote is the same or under. basically, your votekicks count less (or simply do not count at all) if your f2p.

@@Vorobey69 yes it's actually a thing, if you were premium I bet you would not have gotten kicked. I also forgot to say that F2P accounts cannot call votes on P2P accounts, you will get the "you cannot currently call a vote on this player" error.

Then change the numbers around 3 yes 9 no and the vote system be like "The deed is done"

My first time playing trolldier I couldn't hit anything, which led to me getting berated by a member of the enemy team. About 30 seconds later I hit my first ever Garden on said player and he proceded to ragequit. Three years later I still can't hit anything but it's fun to watch people who can.
trolldier is one hell of a crazy learning curve, it took me about a week to be able to semi consistently hit gardens, and the worst part is that in that first week, through sheer panic, i pulled off what was probably the most epic looking escape with a jumper ever, and i still cant recreate it

the learning curve is incredibly goofy, like it didnt dawn on me until i really messed around with my friends on an empty hightower server for about 2 hours and then i really started to understand and enjoy playing trolldier on casual

I don't think trolldiers and friendlies are inherently more toxic than most other player archetypes; I think it's only through negativity bias bolstered by the inherent irony in them being distinctly unfriendly that it feels that way.
I kill friendlies because of I don't it's always THAT DAMNABLE FRENCHMAN deceiving me
And I get backstabbed and die

Vorobey... Don't you know? People just hate a quiet man. No words means nothing to use against you. They lack power in skill and it shows in frustation via talking to a literal wall. They want your words so they can have justification in engaging you when their anger lies in just getting caught ingame and dying.
And, something I want to add, this video made me realize how much of a problem it might actually be for accounts not being allowed to text or voice chat. Yes, it may stop bots with clone accounts from spamming, but here you were literally not able to defend your case despite being present on the server for an hour and a half with completely legitimate gameplay. You were powerless in the ability to aid your case with the rest of the server and i think thats just plain wrong.

You can get the dueling mini-game as a random drop, though it's a rare occurence. Also, you need to have the "Premium DLC".
Alright then. Dueling is restricted to the “money fountains” that VALVe praise. Awesome.
