    Floyd Mayweather Sr. trained Floyd to have a great work ethic and how to become a great defensive fighter. Roger Mayweather trained Floyd how to become a great offensive fighter. Now what we got is a special all-around fighter who has dedicated his whole life to his craft and is the greatest fighter in the world. 42-0 with 26 KO and still going.

    He fought 43 in 16 years, from 2002 no more than two a year, lot less later. I must admit he has a solid rock discipline, know who can beat, never go in wars.
    I would love to see his career taking guys always at best as Delahoya did: Mosley, Trinidad, Hopkins, Quartey, Whitaker, Chavez,etc. I'm sure he'll wait other 2 or 3 years until pac is shot than boxing him as Leonard did with hagler then claiming his better than robinson or ali. If I box Jake LaMotta now I'll probably win too.

Floyd is art in motion all these, MMA fans need to remember this is the sweet science hit and not be hit.

    @itsabird Před 14 lety

    @tacoandbeer yeah exactly, pacquiao has done the same thing yet he's still praised for being a warrior and would fight anybody anytime. it's only because pacquiao throws more punches and acts more humble because that's his image sell. it's a money business and the boxers are about the money too, which they should be.

    I never said that De La Hoya was at his "peak", but that's subjective. A great fighter in his early 30's is not as fast, but he's stronger, and more clever. I think that Floyd stops Oscar at 147 with 8 oz gloves. I think the best result Oscar ever could've gotten is the result he got back in '07. I have no doubt Floyd would've fought and stopped JCC. He would've stopped him on cuts, and he would've made it look shockingly easy.

    His last loss proved it even more that Mayweather would've DESTROYED Pacqiuao, and no it's not over favoritism. Pacqiuao's aggressive style leaves him vulnerable for counters as you saw in the last fight with Marquez lol! I don't consider Mayweathers style boring at all......It's called being intelligent hitting and not being there for the counter. If I thought Pac had a chance of winning I would say it, but I don't think so.

  • @ZatoOW
    @ZatoOW Před 12 lety

    I was talking about Pacquiao. Until the 70s there was only one sanctioning body WBA,
    now you have 4, plus other "brands" plus diamond, golden, linear, ring and other stuffs.
    Sadly but belt today does not prove anything, like in the past. Today are just business. What today means is who fight who at the right time. In the past was the same plus the belt. Because you like Mayweather, when he fought Mosley he did not pay 600K to fight under the W... belt, he was not interested.

  • @codeman95291

    the catchweights didn't make a huge difference like everyone thinks lol pacquiao came up a ton of weight classes as it is so it's not too much to ask for these guys that are a lot bigger then him to lose a few extra pounds lol when pacquiao fought cotto cotto wasn't drained at all cotto fought clottey at a weight that was 2 lbs heavier only before he fought pacquiao and pacquiao was coming up from junior welterweight he never had a fight at welter weight before he fought cotto

    Pernell Whitaker was not better than Mayweather, not even defensively. His defense was to elude punches. Mayweather's defense is to elude, bock, parry, and counter. Two different levels.
