@@rem700longunner Billy had been using Vai's drummer Jeremy Colson(after having Brian Tichy's contributions for a little over 10 years) before Erik came to fill in on the skins.

Have been a fan of Billy since the early 80's when he went solo. Saw him with my cousin in 2016 and he was great. Glad he had Steve Stevens on guitar that tour as they really have a chemistry together. Lennon/McCartney. Jagger/Richards. Idol/Stevens. Some things just work!

The Cult singer looks scary to me...sorry to say that but reminds me of an eel or chameleon,frozen - no signs of real life, emotions in his face (besides his somehow shrill voice)

Why am I so obsessed with this guy and his music
After discovering the Kings and Queens of the Underground album a couple of weeks ago - 7 years late unfortunately - I’ve been thinking the same thing. Some people are just like this. Elvis, Billy Idol, Madonna (back in the 80s and early 90s), Michael Jackson, Mike Patton… They’re ridiculously charismatic and they’re really incredible at what we would love to do.
I’ve always loved Billy Idol’s stuff and thought he was cool (since I first developed the ability to “think” 😂), but I’ve been listening the hell out of his albums and reading a lot about him over these past couple of weeks. I regret that I wasn’t following everything he did throughout his career! But better late than never.

I know this song backwards and wot I find affordable, in this version is the little pause before the "you don't know what you've started..." bit. Billy let's Stevens have a little time in the spotlight and Billy slings his arm around him and just GRINS at himself for being Besties with one of the world's great geeeeetar players.
Plus, they obviously fit each other's style, hand and glove
