Football Daily could you do a video about teams who accidentally killed players from the old rules football game?? thanks great video.

Escobar murder was the most shocking. I watched him play. He was strong but fair player. Anybody that has a nickname “the gentleman” deserves respect.
Truee especially centre backs because they are butchers normally
@@nn1915 check your spelling!
@@Jackgritty28 ok dude thats right now tell me where your from and i will talk plenty of shit about your country. let me tell you something one person doesnt pay for all. what i mean is just because he got killed doesnt mean the whole country is like that dumbass.
I think that Ngolo Kante should be called the gentleman.
@@Jackgritty28 man said check your spelling and said colUmbia with a U 🤣
Escobar's was a shocker remember watching the game and a few day's later he was shot dead so sad just for a own goal life was cheap in there country at that time
steven clark the most tragical Death in Football history
Spoken like someone who doesn't know what they're talking about. You think life was cheap? Every single day those people wondered when it would all end. You have no idea what you're talking about.
Sebastian Quinchia I think he meant cheap as in people had no regard for other humans at the time
diaz Diaz thank you. that is what i meant thank you .
The idea that he was killed due to him scoring on his own team was never proven to be true. Some believe he was killed because he was sleeping around with a Mafioso's girlfriend. The Colombian team during the 90s was loved by everyone in Colombia.
Escobar’s story makes me so sad. The man made a mistake, that I’m sure hurt him inside a lot. He didn’t need to die for that.
What did he do ?
Helen James own goal
Or They send someone to murder them either from a bar or your crib man this is sad
@@helenaxoxoxo1404 he score an own goal causing his country to get eliminated from a World Cup. Colombian was one of favorites to win it that WC
I also believe his murder still to this day affects the columbian national squad and maybe partially wht they never seem to fill their potential considering the talent they produce , I believe they have a raft of talented players to afraid to represent their country 👍
Such a shame
Stfu
The Human Lion shameful that they had to be murdered playing the beautiful game.
KimFootball Hi I like your vids and I'm subbed keep on going what you do and ignore the haters :-)
They also missed out Peralta, he was shot dead 18 times in Honduras. The motive is still unknown I think. I was so shocked and cried a bit because I met Arnold a few months previous to his death and he was such a nice person.
KimFootball I know,I was replying to the idiot below your comment....
He checked how all of their names are pronounced just for the video, that's very polite
Yeah, except all of the hungarian names :)
And the polish names

Respect for not having numbers 🙏🏻
Harvz they always know when it's appropriate or not, I really respect the way the lads carry themselves on here
What do you mean
were gonna edit that out not numbering someone's death.cause every death is equally sad and tragic and no life is more valuable than other
Chronological numbers would be good
Why would numbers be disrespectful?? Wtf

Aiman Imran Sorry, I don’t speak American.
Another one is a El Salvador player “Alfredo Pacheco”. He was one of the players from the national team that agreed to recieve money to play bad and lose games that were crucial to qualify for the world cup. Got banned from FIFA for life. Moved away from El Salvador, Played in the US, played against him in Los Angeles, he finally went back home to El Salvador where a day later, he was killed by a gang member.

We were close to loosing yet another player this year during the European Championship, where Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest on the field just before the second half in a game against Finland.
Thankfully, the doctors were able to resuscitate him on the field, and he is now okay.
shot 6 times, stabbed 32 times, killed by teenagers, hanged and buried secretly, just for 🤔 football. shows extreme ignorance, go get yourself some popcorn and a drink and enjoy the beautiful game of football.
Nicholas oseghale indeed
It's not beautiful it's camp. Watching grown men kick abag of wind around and fake injuries on the floor... try watching mixed martial arts instead or at least rugby
3 Frag Jag but you're still here...
Kath Beck well yeah they have to dive to score 😂 They don't dive about trying to get cheap frewkicks, time waste or pretend they're injured. Just face it football is soft and camp, no idea why people taken it so seriously
3 Frag Jag because it’s the most popular game there is lol, everything you mentioned are all strategic tactics used in an ordinary football match; just like any tactics you’d use in another sport. Just because the tactics are different doesn’t make them any less efficient than the tactics you’d use in a sport. Don’t come hating on football in a FOOTBALL video just because you favor another sport. I could name countless flaws within rugby or even mma
Escobar was a world class defender.... Just look at the 1994 WC qualifier when Colombia beat Argentina 5-0.... Argentina had Maradona, Batistuta & Ortega in attack & he kept them all out! He'd have been great at a team like Barcelona!
RIP
Only one Escobar!
he was on his way to AC Milan, the greatest team at the time
it’s good too see that they showed a great amount of respect to these brave players by not ranking them.
What about Jacobo Urso? He was an Argentinian playing for San Lorenzo. In a game he crashed against two opposing players and his ribs had broken and he started to cough blood but still he decided to stay in the field and keep playing (no substitutions at that time). He even managed to assist on the victory goal, but colapsed on the field and didn't move. He was rushed to the emergency room but after days of surgery he passed away.
Brilliant video ,one of my favourite by FD
Im Romanian and I'm so sorry about what happened to Escobar I think that the Romanian player would have never crossed that if he knew what would have happened to Escobar. RIP

So Escobar was killed in Medelin by a cartel boss. that's kind of ironic
Sander Oude Wesselink narcos
Sander Oude Wesselink Nah it was just a street gang that worked for Pablo Escobar.
Godly God not just a street gang, a criminal organisation
alex kanyima No the meddelin cartel was made up of 100s of smaller street gangs. The people who were proven to have done it were a street gang that just worked for escobar
Godly God but why is Escobar involved in that ?
Good job football Daily everyone should know the dirty side of the beautiful game. This vedio brought tears to my eyes the beautiful game needs fans who are truly in love with the game.
Soumya Saha does it bring tears to your eyes that you can't spell video
Janice Mahoney obviously all u can focus on is a spelling mistake u troll

Soumya Saha I love the beatuful game. I cried when I saw this
Janice Mahoney did it cross your little mind that maybe English isn't Soumya's first language? Just a thought....
I’m a spurs fan but when you hear patos voice on a video you know it’s going to be a winner
The players who hit jimmy Thorpe and killed him were never charged
Donald 'Donaldo' Love Though what happened was terrible, the things they did to cause his death weren't abnormal or against the rules at the time. I'd assume the death was deemed accidental
Paganisegg they kicked him in the head when he was on the ground more than a few times. It's against the law in what ever context. You could barge the keeper but you could never kick his head
Donald 'Donaldo' Love According to the video atleast he received a single blow to the head and chest (one from the two forwards chasing the ball). While this should never have happened I wouldn't say they did it on purpose, they simply did what was expected of a forward at the time.
Paganisegg there were 3 players from reports at the time. Try repeatedly kicked him. And it still wasn't in the rules to kick someone in the head. If he had it in his hands then they could kick his hands but never his head
Donald 'Donaldo' Love I've never really looked into the incident, simply going from the description from the video. If they really did purposefully kick him in the head multiple times then there should be some sort of criminal investigation.
"Football isn't the matter of life or death... it's much more important than that"

Jose S Solis why do they killed him ?
Because he have some problems with some guys in Colon ... But the thing is that we miss him a lot

i remember the Andres Escobar case, i was 13 at the time sadly being out in the middle of the night did not help him Andres tried to clear the ball but sadly it was redirected into his own net

Scotland Boy can you actually blame them for jeering? After all he did kill another player, religion and circumstances aside.
I’m Panamanian and I was so sad when he said Amilcar Henriquez was Panamanian too
You forgot the horrible storie of Tonny Van Leeuwen. In that time, one of the best keepers in Europe.
I wish that you would have included Arnold Peralta, he played for Rangers. I remember waking up and seeing the news about his death. Considering that he was on e of the most important Honduran players at the time, it was a dark day for the country.

Robert Mensah and Escobar, hurts man 😭💜
Marvin Lee. Died from the game as well. Injury during an international game. Never recovered. Trinidad and Tobago. R. I. P.
what a bad day for this to be recommended :(
I think saying that "Football killed" some of these is a stretch. Some of those were killed for political reasons in which case a government is to blame and not the sport. Also, in the case of Escobar, they're not completely sure the own goal was the reason, despite what they reported the shooter saying. Yes, I know, nitpicky. But yes, a sad list.
No, you make a good point. Even the suicide one I noticed that he doesn't directly say the player cited being dropped as the reason for it. People can get depressed and commit suicide at any age. I would guess in the case of Escobar it probably had something to do with it as otherwise it would be a pretty big coincidence. People die every day and there are lots of professional footballers, there are plenty of players also who got cancer and died or had some accident. It's a tough world out there, look after yourself.
There was also Dener from Vasco Da Gama in Brazil who died at the age of 23, he was set to be one of the best in history.

Well done. Good content...Football was actually a matter of life and death for these myrtyrs.
I saw a documentary about Escobar and apparently, according to some of Pablo Escobars scenarios, the shooting was simply a case of wrong place at the wrong time. The guy who shot him apparently admitted as such. Guess we'll never truly know.....
Danny Ortiz, a goalkeeper from Guatemala, had a similar death like Thorpe's one.

My very first memory of watching football/soccer at a very young age is that of the defender committing the own goal by deflecting the ball away from the keeper. Wouldn't even find out he was murdered because of it for at least a couple years

Júnior collided with Mohun Bagan goalkeeper Subrata Paul, in the 78th minute of the Federation Cup finals. While scoring his second goal after chasing the ball into the box, he collided with the keeper, staggered away and then collapsed.[3]Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. The game continued after Junior was taken off the field. He was dead on arrival at Hosmat Hospital, hospital officials said that no doctors were requested to be at the ground during the Federation Cup match, "At no time, was the hospital requested to provide doctors, and no agreement or contract for doctors was made."[4] Dempo won the Cup 2-0. According to the autopsy performed in the Bangalore Hospital (where Junior was moved from the stadium), the footballer died because of a heart stroke. The report also added that Júnior was not injured at the moment of the arrival to the health center.

Indirectly, Ledger "Les" Ritson. Although he died long after his career ended, the way it ended and how his life panned out for him after his career end, I think it counts. Over the course of 4 years, poor Les broke his leg no fewer than 5 times. It was a miracle that he even manged to play 84 games for Leyton Orient over that period. Finally, it was found that he had a rare bone disease, and had to retire. Later, he lost BOTH legs, as they were found to be riddled with the same disease. He tried using artificial legs, and also tried to coach and manage, but he couldn't cope. He died, virtually broke in 1977 at the age of 56.
This brings me agony too because there came a tribal war between two villages over football that saw the death of 16 teenagers at ones before the Fitch could be stopped and till now there have been speculations that more murders is still ongoing as times goes by.

Sadly a week after this video is uploaded an indonesian player choirul huda a goalkeeper for Persela Lamongan also died, after colliding with his own teammate. He got hit in the chest and head. While on the ambulance he still talking and said that his chest is hurting. When they arrive at the hospital huda is unconscious and unfortunately drew his last breath. The game isn't even over yet, persela huda's team won the match 2-0 against semen padang, but persela never had the worst three point until that day. Weird is, if i remember huda is in the bench that season and that game is the first time he was a starter. Maybe it was a gods plan who knows.
