You haven’t ruined a player’s career by starting over them. That just means they aren’t good enough.

Regardless of the trophies FIFA WORLD XI appearances, Pique is a crap. It's just a popularity contest. Couldn't hack it at MAN U. Icardi, too, is such a shit player. I do watch serie a when I can and he's got nothing. If was any good bigger clubs would have come calling. Inter are doing better so far but they'll fall short again. To think both Milan's used to be CL regulars. Now they border on mid-table obscurity. And because of Messi's friendship with Lopez(who managed to play for Barca unlike Icardi) that's why Icardi never got near the national team until recently.

Roy Keane killed Alf Inge Hålands career by making a horrific two footed tackle on him for no other reason than revenge. Wich is even mentioned in Roy Keanes own biografi. Alf Inge Håland never became the same player again, and was suddenly injury prone as a result. For me this should have been one of the first cases where a player was charged for assault for what he did on a football pitch. And why you don't have it in a top ten even is beyond me.

I remember reading that once in a match between Dynamo Kyiv and Lokomotiv Sofia Dynamo's goalkeeper collided with a Lokomotiv Sofia player so harsh that the Lokomotiv striker had to lose his *testicles*. Indeed, he lost his balls in that match. 4 weeks earlier he died because of liver failure caused from a recoil of the injury. I remember the GK's name was Aleksandr Bezukosniy, but forgot the name of the player dead.
Meanwhile - Lokomotiv Sofia won the match 2-0 to qualify for the ECC (now UCL) quarter final, but were criticized by the Communist party in Bulgaria due to "beating a Soviet team." But later the headlines changed. However, ever since then Lokomotiv have never been champions of Bulgaria. So that guy technically not only ended a fellow player's LIFE, but also ended the greatness of an entire team.

Very good video. But, how on earth did this list not include Kevin Muscat? Playing for Milwall at the time, the fiery Aussie international defender scythed down Charlton's Matty Holmes with a sickening challenge just 3 min into a 1998 FA Cup match.
Holmes was forced to retire, and later sued Muscat for A$1.82m (about GBP950,000 or US$1.25m) claiming the tackle from Muscat destroyed his career, but Holmes came back some years later to play in the 6th tier of English football.
And get this - Muscat, an ex-South Melbourne defender, wasn't even penalised for it. And...
"The tackle left Holmes needing four operations, a steel rod in his left leg and skin grafts from his buttocks to repair a hole in his ankle, and his lawyers said doctors initially feared his leg might have to be amputated. Other players who have been seriously injured by Muscat tackles were ready to testify, including French international Christophe Dugarry and Newcastle player Craig Bellamy. And 11 Charlton players from that night as well as 25 other witnesses said the tackle was "over the top"." (www.theage.com.au/sport/soccer/muscats-606-000-tackle-20040225-gdxdkp.html)
And that's before we even speak of his equally crude challenge on Adrian Zahra of Melbourne City when KM was playing for Australian A-League side Melbourne Victory - for which Muscat was duly shown a straight red, and would never set foot on a football pitch as a player ever again... no wonder ex-Birmingham City player Martin Grainger called Muscat, "the most hated man in football"...

I'm so glad I never got to see Dave Busst's leg get shattered like that.....I just remember seeing Schmeichel's running over to look and then seeing him quickly put his hands to his eyes and running away. Reading in Shoot magazine that he threw up during the match doesn't surprise me. It made me think if he can throw up in a situation like that, anyone can. I think I'd need counselling if I had to experience something like that.

For example, since Real Madrid won the UEFA Championship, can each of the players confidently say "I won the 3 UEFA Championship 3 years in a row.."
Or is it something only the star players get to say? 🤔🤔🤔

Yeah worst person ever, he helped kids and gave them an actual father rather than the cheating ass that was Maxi Lozep...
You sure love spinning the story around, Lopez was a shit father and husband and Icardi actually takes care of the kids like they are his own.

Evans arguably killed a football club. Holden was a massive part of that Bolton team - they went from the top eight and featuring in a cup semi final, to bottom three in the PL in little more than a year (just before the bumper parachute payments were introduced). Doubtless, someone would’ve come in for him, but the money from the sale could’ve been reinvested. Financially Wanderers are still circling the drain and - aside from significant outside investment - it’s likely that’s the best we can hope for.
If he ever gets lost in Bolton, he may never find his way out. By my reckoning he owes the club about £15 million, inflated to a figure perhaps around £40 million. The amount a player like him goes for today, along with other players we lost for cut price deals (Cahill) or even free (Alonso) because they failed to stave off the relegation.

This list is a bit suspect like most of the players mentioned in this video. For example, Wanda Nara stated that it was Maxi Lopez who had cheated on her and Icardi stated that he and Maxi Lopez were never best friends.
