You haven’t ruined a player’s career by starting over them. That just means they aren’t good enough.
Sean Place exactly
Sean Place thats like playing ronaldo over mbappe just cus ronaldo is more proven than a younger mbappe, but mbappe would still be young and has his best days still to come...
@@hizzle8393 That would be Mbappe & his agent's fault though for not moving to somewhere he'll get gametime or fit the playstyle
correct
You forgot to mention Lord Bendtner ended Ronaldo and Messi's careers just by existing in the same era as them..
Ikr
So stupid aren't they that was an obvious one
Dexter Morgan hahahaha?
Just Hipstahh you know james was joking eight
stupid boy
It is not Peter fault for being too good
Orio videos
Good?
That's one of the biggest understatements I've ever heard 😉😆
Bit harsh to put Schmeichel on here. Not his fault a number of keepers after him weren’t good enough
How was Pique related to the downfall of that player?
Krush Jones being in the same team
Doesn't make sense lol. Not pique fault hes so good.
Kept him out of the team, not really piques fault it's just he wasn't good enough for Barcelona and for some reason pique is getting the blame
Krush Jones These guys can't make up their mind what this list is really about, it's just random bullshit.
Regardless of the trophies FIFA WORLD XI appearances, Pique is a crap. It's just a popularity contest. Couldn't hack it at MAN U. Icardi, too, is such a shit player. I do watch serie a when I can and he's got nothing. If was any good bigger clubs would have come calling. Inter are doing better so far but they'll fall short again. To think both Milan's used to be CL regulars. Now they border on mid-table obscurity. And because of Messi's friendship with Lopez(who managed to play for Barca unlike Icardi) that's why Icardi never got near the national team until recently.
How EXACTLY was it Pique's fault? The list went from a player breaking another player's leg which end his career to Pique ruined other player's career because Pique was better? Go drunk Football Daily, you're home!
You're acting like wright intentionally broke that guys leg. You're all sick.
He didnt it was a 50/50 collision and i think the other guy was looking for the foul
Did anyone else see the picture of Icardi meeting Lopes as a kid haha little did Lopes know he was going to take his wife and children from him
Life is unpredictable at times
However, that was just utterly messed up and proved Mauro Icardi to be a callous backstabber
Not sure how pique ruined that guys career I mean he only played better than him. Basically that guy ruined his own career by playing badly
Tyler Wilson Playing badly /=/ never being given a chance to play
Whoever broke David Villa's leg should be on here
Raymar Football why? David villa won pretty much everything there's is to win
Connor Mason imagine if he had never lost his flashy pace and athleticism with that injury though
Raymar Football yh I guess so
Raymar Football hes killing it in the US. Forever will be a legend.
Wayne Bridge’s career was always second best to Ashley Cole even before Terry’s affair. He didn’t destroy his career his career was average anyways
Wayne Bridge isn't the most intelligent guy, either (have you ever heard him being interviewed?), but he's bagged a babe in Frankie from The Saturdays!
LeeMon Hussain b
AldershotDave agreed she is a fine piece of skirt
You're right he just ruined his life
He went from average too below average haha but yeah personal matters usually do affect people professionally
Last time i was this early
Sturridge had a sprint
Anders Tiller Munn yep
Anders Tiller Munn i
Ikr they made him lose 23 pace!!! Like seriously 23 that's more than manolas's shooting!
lol as a liverpool fan this is so true what happened to sturridge😂😂
Barton also ruined his own career if it weren't for his temper he would have been a great player
What about Bale destroying Maicon's career in 90 minutes..? He was never the same.
How you gonna put Pique on the list just for being better than another player? We signed that dude as a long term replacement for Puyol not Piqué
Giggsy vs Terry..Tough Match..haha
Peter Villabroza ?? Did you remember we won 3-1 against them??
Most of this list is bullshit football daily need to learn from hitc sport
Hitc is amazing tbh
Yes
Poalris yes
Poalris someone's speaking sense
They could have done a collaboration with them on this video with that Irish guy narrating.
That Guy is funny as hell
Pique one is a stretch but ok
Pique didn't ruin his career he was just better
Adam Johnson fucked up Adam Johnson's career.
Failing to replace a predecessor does not count as ruining a career.
Ibra did not win a single trophy in the 2011-12 season in serie a, so you got it wrong
Fábio Rochemback 5:26 and Maxi López 8:39 played together in Brazil for Grêmio in 2009.
Coutinho ruined his own career by moving to Barca
so what did Pique do exactly?
Being too good of a defender.
Mattheuw1154 same with Schmeichel. Too good of a keeper. Being better than somebody at something doesn’t make them any worse than they already are. They really scraped the bottom of the barrel with those 2
😂 😂 😂
The Dude I no
Well, standing in front of them effectively hinders their career, especially at a club like Barcelona. Chygrynskiy wasn't a bad defender at all, a couple of seasons in Catalonia might have elevated him.
You actually missed one: Kevin Prince Boateng ruined the career of Michael Ballack just before the World Cup 2010 by injuring him pretty hard.
Ballack never played for the German Dfb Team anymore (before he was Cpt) and his career just went downhill
This is like saying Messi ruined Pedro’s career
You forgot Martin Taylor
Double compound fracture of Eduardo's leg never the same player again
It’s football man! U can hardly say players aren’t supposed to commit to tackles! They aren’t intentionally injuring people
Michael Doyle finally somebody has said it. That’s why they’re paid so much. They go out onto that pitch every week knowing they could be fucked up for a long time by a freak accident
Michael Doyle - Danny Tiatto (remember him?) would like a quiet word with you...
Maxi is 33 and is still playing top flight football with Udinese so he hasn't ruined his career, he ruined his marriage.
Nooooo Puyol is 99% the reason Pique ever looked good. Once pique was by himself, there’s nobody you could put back there to make Pique look world class
Roy Keane has been missed out for that tackle on Alfie Haaland.
Pique didn’t ruin that guys career.. he couldn’t handle the pressure of Barca
Gary Cahill ended Ryan Mason's career, but unintentionally.
Add Cuautemoc Blanco. He is a Mexican legend and got his knee destroyed at a world cup qualifier against Trinidad y Tobago. He played in Spain for a season but was never the same.
As a soccer player, this is as close to a horror movie as it gets.
Higuain > Messi's International career
Make A video of the team Lyon could have if the players didn't leave. You know like benzema, lloris, laca and tolisso
Schmeichel didn't actually vomit. That was a myth
Roy Keane ruining Alf Inge Hålands career not on the list but Piqué is because Piqué is good? Seriously
Diego Lopez???? Jose Mourinho played Lopez instead of Casillas for one season due to which Casillas dropped in rating and Madrid suffered. Though it wasn't Lopez's own fault
Moral of the story is Don't set Joey "Donkey Punch" Barton on fire
Good list but i missed Roy Keane - Alfie Haaland and Riise - Alan Smith
Pep ruined more careers then I've had hot meals
Hmmm wonder how Wanda got him that contract ;)
re: 8 Mark Bosnich ruined Mark Bosnich's career due to his affinity for cocaine while with Chelsea. It's also really harsh to say that Irwin and McClair ruined Busst's career, that was just a freak accident,
So you’re telling me that peter schmeichel ruined 3 careers because he left gloves too big for his successors to fill?
Loads of bullshit...Where is Taylor's tackle on Eduardo da Silva? Eduardo was in his prime and developing even more, how are Pique and Smeichel fault for being too good. My God...🤦🤦
The title is misleading
Messi vs Boateng should be on this list
That was BRUTAL!
People seem to forget that Boateng was the one who had Messi on his pocket during the WC Final.
Messi wasn’t responsible for that, it was the sniper in the crowd lol
Matthew Pritchard 😂
Trova Nkyesiga
He is still world class.
Nilis was such a legend... He was before the current golden generation the greatest Belgian player to ever play.
Was super sad when he had his injury
“Undoubtably”? Not a word, kid.
It's a shame Nilis' career came to an end so quickly. Ronaldo called him his favourite player to play alongside, he would have lit up the EPL
A few of these are BS because it is not the players's fault that he is good and the other one is ass. You can't blame Pique for "ruining" that one guy from Shaktar's career
Alje Schut??? He destroyed the romanian Mihai Nesu, which has his legs paralized
Dave Busst now manages a sunday league team I play against, He still walks with a severe limp
Roy Keane killed Alf Inge Hålands career by making a horrific two footed tackle on him for no other reason than revenge. Wich is even mentioned in Roy Keanes own biografi. Alf Inge Håland never became the same player again, and was suddenly injury prone as a result. For me this should have been one of the first cases where a player was charged for assault for what he did on a football pitch. And why you don't have it in a top ten even is beyond me.
Taylor ruined Eduardos career.
Axel Witsel ruined Martin Wasilewski's career with that disgusting tackle when he was playing for Standard and his own career by moving to China instead of Juventus so...
I'm kind of surprised that Roy Keane/Alf-Inge Håland didn't make the list. I mean, Håland wasn't the same after that.
The top 3 were spot on! However, the inclusion of Guardiola and Schmeichel isn't fair due to the fact that their successors couldnt live up to the expectations, yet Roy Keane wasn't included for his challenge on Haaland.
Icardi's buyout is only 98M??? Potential bargain for clubs like Barca/Real and Bayern who's strikers are starting to age
this video turned weird, went for career ending footballers to the biggest feuds of football. im confused.
life lesson learned: Never mess with Zlatan
How did you forget to mention Roy Keane for ending Afinge Haalands career? 1 brutal challenge in the Manchester derby
Knew this myth would be in the comments. Haaland finished the game and even played a few times after that.
you cannot end someones career by being BETTER then them
Karius concussion caused by Sergio Ramos
they totally forgot that one
As a striker for an amateur league team I can tell you right now when I join a team I tell the 1st team strikers straight away I’m here for your spot. That’s not me ruining someone’s career that’s just me being a better player simple
I remember reading that once in a match between Dynamo Kyiv and Lokomotiv Sofia Dynamo's goalkeeper collided with a Lokomotiv Sofia player so harsh that the Lokomotiv striker had to lose his *testicles*. Indeed, he lost his balls in that match. 4 weeks earlier he died because of liver failure caused from a recoil of the injury. I remember the GK's name was Aleksandr Bezukosniy, but forgot the name of the player dead.
Meanwhile - Lokomotiv Sofia won the match 2-0 to qualify for the ECC (now UCL) quarter final, but were criticized by the Communist party in Bulgaria due to "beating a Soviet team." But later the headlines changed. However, ever since then Lokomotiv have never been champions of Bulgaria. So that guy technically not only ended a fellow player's LIFE, but also ended the greatness of an entire team.
From what I remember that was one incident where Zlatan didn’t come out on top
Very good video. But, how on earth did this list not include Kevin Muscat? Playing for Milwall at the time, the fiery Aussie international defender scythed down Charlton's Matty Holmes with a sickening challenge just 3 min into a 1998 FA Cup match.
Holmes was forced to retire, and later sued Muscat for A$1.82m (about GBP950,000 or US$1.25m) claiming the tackle from Muscat destroyed his career, but Holmes came back some years later to play in the 6th tier of English football.
And get this - Muscat, an ex-South Melbourne defender, wasn't even penalised for it. And...
"The tackle left Holmes needing four operations, a steel rod in his left leg and skin grafts from his buttocks to repair a hole in his ankle, and his lawyers said doctors initially feared his leg might have to be amputated. Other players who have been seriously injured by Muscat tackles were ready to testify, including French international Christophe Dugarry and Newcastle player Craig Bellamy. And 11 Charlton players from that night as well as 25 other witnesses said the tackle was "over the top"." (www.theage.com.au/sport/soccer/muscats-606-000-tackle-20040225-gdxdkp.html)
And that's before we even speak of his equally crude challenge on Adrian Zahra of Melbourne City when KM was playing for Australian A-League side Melbourne Victory - for which Muscat was duly shown a straight red, and would never set foot on a football pitch as a player ever again... no wonder ex-Birmingham City player Martin Grainger called Muscat, "the most hated man in football"...
Ioan Ganea ruined John Kennedy’s career with that tackle on his Scotland debut. Kennedy would have been a world class CB before that.
Can you really blame Schmeichel for ruining Bosnich’s career? He did that himself with the drugs!
Bit harsh on wright. The Nilis injury was a complete accident.
I thought Mauro Icardi had done something to Alan Smith judging by the thumbnail
It's unfair on Peter Schmeichel, it wasn't his fault the other keepers were rubbish.
Wait, what? Gerard Pique ruined someone's career.... because he was better than them?
Wasting 11minutes talking about anything else then the title of the video
What about Kevin Muscat?. He broke someone's leg in brutal challenge leading to him never playing again
Kevin Muscat is a contender for the nastiest footballer on the pitch ever, surely? Norwich fans really dislike him for doing Craig Bellamy.
You forgot to mention Roy Keane when he ended Haaland’s career
The McClair/Irwin slander is outrageous. They were in no way responsible for what happened to David Busst.
What about giggs and his revange against that player.. he still cant walk normal after all these years.. truly a disgusting tackle
It was Keane
Not Giggs
You don't destroy a players career by being better than him
Between holdens and evans being injury prone, soon you will add jordan rossitier to that list
came in here and not seeing keane haaland scandal was really disappointing, that is supposed to be number 1 in this list, keane deliberately ended the career of haaland at the age of 29
Martin Tyler on Eduardo isn't here but Pique playing well enough to keep a player out of the side is??? Wow.
Union are my 2nd favorite team 😉 When he said Onyewu I was like..
Hi,I hope you see this..

I'm so glad I never got to see Dave Busst's leg get shattered like that.....I just remember seeing Schmeichel's running over to look and then seeing him quickly put his hands to his eyes and running away. Reading in Shoot magazine that he threw up during the match doesn't surprise me. It made me think if he can throw up in a situation like that, anyone can. I think I'd need counselling if I had to experience something like that.
To the parents of Wanda and Zaira Nara - just what kind of private joke where you having at your childrens' expense.
For example, since Real Madrid won the UEFA Championship, can each of the players confidently say "I won the 3 UEFA Championship 3 years in a row.."
Or is it something only the star players get to say? 🤔🤔🤔
Whole lotta FD Gang shit 🤙
You forgot about Roy Keane breaking the Scandinavian's leg intentionally.
Scott Brown ended Barton’s career
Messi ended the career of all of Real Madrid.
Ruben J Clearly not since he choked a 4-1 Ballon D’Or lead.
Icardi is savage. Took Maxi’s number 9 spot and also stole his wife 😱😱😱
What about Stoichkov viciously breaking a 19 year old kids leg when he played for DC United? That sure seemed like more of a career ender than some of these
Is Mauro Icardi the worst man in football?!
Football Daily no there is suarez
Yeah worst person ever, he helped kids and gave them an actual father rather than the cheating ass that was Maxi Lozep...
You sure love spinning the story around, Lopez was a shit father and husband and Icardi actually takes care of the kids like they are his own.
Just might be
joe is
No
Evans arguably killed a football club. Holden was a massive part of that Bolton team - they went from the top eight and featuring in a cup semi final, to bottom three in the PL in little more than a year (just before the bumper parachute payments were introduced). Doubtless, someone would’ve come in for him, but the money from the sale could’ve been reinvested. Financially Wanderers are still circling the drain and - aside from significant outside investment - it’s likely that’s the best we can hope for.
If he ever gets lost in Bolton, he may never find his way out. By my reckoning he owes the club about £15 million, inflated to a figure perhaps around £40 million. The amount a player like him goes for today, along with other players we lost for cut price deals (Cahill) or even free (Alonso) because they failed to stave off the relegation.
Stupid reason...Pique is not responsible for other player downfall or bad performance
This list is a bit suspect like most of the players mentioned in this video. For example, Wanda Nara stated that it was Maxi Lopez who had cheated on her and Icardi stated that he and Maxi Lopez were never best friends.
