Is it possible to change the octave of two separate sounds when using the split function? So, for example, if you wanted a string section in the lower part of the keyboard and a piano tone in the upper part, but you wanted them both to be at the same octave, would that be possible?
@Jamie & Greatpcfan - Thanks for trying to help me. Actually, you know what? Had to do some settings on the function Key and increase the style Vol to some greater number. I had set that to 1 somehow :(
I'm a guitar player, but I'm looking to start to learn piano/keyboard, would this be any good? As long as it's of decent quality and it works I'm not too fussy since I'm new.

When I used to press keys on the left side, it used to play tunes on which we can compose. I dont know what happened. I think i did some changes in the settings i guess (not sure what is is)...now if i press only one key 3 keys will get pressed. Also, I am sure i did not spoil this. Can anyone PLS HELP ME. I am very new to Keyboard. PLS!!!!
I bought it. Yeah Keyboard is awesome.. Thanks to Filters you can tune and change sounds. Its able to play even psyctrance (while it have appregiators with realtime cutoff ). It have also Rock and Rave/Disco etc. For beginners it have some learning program/suite (with key waiting and displying keys) - and sheet notes included with manual. It have memory banks, large menu and all TABs/chords like G#7(9), Cdim, EmM7.. This demo (I bet) shows only 10% of all keyboard possibilities..:D

@KashgroundTM nope... USB, Power, Phones (only out) and Sustain (To plug in a Yamaha...uhh I dont now how I say it in English, in Germany we say "Fußpedal"... you have got it under a real Piano I think you say "pedal"...)

good sounds for voice but storage not friendly : flash memory,Casio ctk 7000 have SD card up to 32 GB,and other function : mixer,drawbar organ,tone editor,pattern creator and rhythm editor ,mixer,song creator,and save style up to 100 user style,so E423 minimum feature but i like sounds very nice,in stage i prefer to Casio ctk 7000.....

@miguelgdadu i used to own one to be honest i believe the arpeggioator but i must warn you the synthesis is bad no rotary sim for organs and no octave switching for pianos i sold mine for a korg m5o which i love there are better keyboards out there i wouldn't buy it

@Peelzor I bought the PSR-E423 a couple months ago and it is a very good keyboard. You wont get board and the quality is very good for the price.

@KashgroundTM kk you can use the midiport (usb) to play with FL or other Programms but you cant attach music players... I think....

Great Keyboard for Beginners & For performing Live, But if you want a Real Yamaha taste, Then you should choose for the Yamaha S series or Tyros
it's about USD 250-399, it's very good for piano beniners. but u must buy the sustain pedal. because there's no internal sustain in that instrument
