You guys are so funny in this episode. Having lived and work in Berlin many years ago you're bringing back sweet memories. I always loved the parks and museums and yes, the food and beers :)
Funny, they had the same little wooden picks with the fries and bratwurst with the spicy tomato sauce.

We really enjoyed Berlin! It has such a great vibe and even just spending 1 day there you can experience so much! How long did you live there? I can imaginr that must have been a crazy experience 😀
@@NaickKim Just a few years, but it was a special time. Really made us aware of the tenacity of the german people after seeing how they rebuilt Berlin which was bombed to the ground during the last days of WW2. And you would never know it today if you didn't visit the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. Also, when we lived in Berlin it was surrounded by the iron curtain and a million (cold war) Soviet troops. Strange and beautiful times. But you'll see equally amazing things in your way to Beijing :)

That sounds like an epic time spent there. Can't imagine what is must have been like during the era of the iron curtain. You guys seem to have been living in a lot of great places. How did you end up in Beijing.
@@NaickKim I'm an animation artist and work on movies around the world. For many years it's been a great excuse to travel, live and work in interesting places. Some places more than others :)

James says the city has an amazing and also odd feeling about it.
