Hey nice one! We were just there from Oct-Nov last year and did about 90% of the same point of interest sites you've posted here. We missed the TV tower tour, Circus hotel and only experienced the subway from our hotel to nearby Marienplatz, (Munich's central urban heart of the city). We had a tour bus for most of the time though so we covered a lot more places other than those you mentioned here but you did hit the spot. Congrats.

'Maultaschen' are a traditional food in the very other part of germany..it's definitely not from Berlin :D
The city is known for very terrible bakery shops (except Pfannkuchen). Eat Kebap and Curry Wurst. Thats almost the Berlin food you can get everywhere currently.
Besides this take the chance to eat super authentic food from all around the world (e.g. at Markthalle 9)..don't try to hard to find traditional Berlin food and enjoy your time in the city. That's my advise

Hey ya, you made a slight mistake by promoting BVG as the single public transportation company, they operate most of it but not everything. (bus,tram, subway) The S-Bahn is a
subsidiary company of the Deutsche Bahn (DB). They operate under the VBB transport network, that's why you can use the tickets in every single public transport excluded taxis.al

The tickest machines are a real mess. Very slow and mostly do not accept regular credit cards. Debit cards (v pay) only or cash.
We wonder if this is a Europe vs other Continents thing? We're wondering if that's the reason credit cards are not accepted.

You can't take the S-Bahn with the BVG Ticket, you'll need a VBB Ticket for that, which also includes BVG.

Of course she can, it's true it belongs to another company but still it is BVG, she doesn't need to buy another ticket. I am raised in Berlin and I never ever bought a new ticket. Please stop confusing..
There are no BVG tickets. There are only VBB tickets. It does not play a role if you buy those from BVG or S-Bahn Berlin. Or any other sales channel.
The tickets cover all means of local public transport
- regional trains (operated most by DB)
- S-Bahn trains (S-Bahn Berlin)
- U-Bahn (metro) (BVG)
- trams (BVG)
- buses (operated mostly by BVG)
- ferries (as far as operated by BVG)
