I had Bells Palsy at 13 on the left side of my face. My smile is still crooked from it, it’s a wild disease. But it’ll go away in the few weeks.
I had it too,not took 5 months for it to go away, thank God everything was perfect afterwards.

Once I had them, my face went back to normal. Praise God

I had Bells Palsy in my 20's. It's super scary, one side of your face just doesn't move. Very scary when it happens and this was before the Internet so I had no idea what was wrong. I thought maybe I had a stroke. Any ways Dr said it was Bells Palsy. I think I got a steroid pack. I can't remember it was 35-40 years ago. It goes away in most people in 2-3 weeks but some people it never goes away. It's extremely scary. It doesn't hurt, you can't feel anything other than you face doesn't move on one side. It's pretty common. Nothing wrong with him, it's something we all can get. He should be ok in 2 weeks. But definitely very fucking scary when it's your face and Knowing some people don't have it go away.

I wonder if it's related to his broken orbital bone he suffered in 2022. Surgery could've weakened the nerves and then a hit to the face in a game caused it to fail completely.
Bells Palsy is common. I had it 38 years ago. It's not necessarily triggered by anything. It's something that can happen to anyone. We all have viruses inside us. Some lay dormant and some activate. Like the shingles. We all carry viruses and some people don't have it flare up. For example only about 33% end up getting shingles even though we all carry the virus. I've had both Bells Palsy and Shingles in my life so I know what I'm talking about. It's just by chance the virus triggered in him. You could be next or me. There's nothing he did or could've done to avoid it.
