#36 Using inverted roof to insulate the old Greek house.

In this video we cleanup the house and the garten, install the wood shed made in the previous video and do a lot of other stuff.
But the main job is starting to insulate the roof against wild Greek sun using an inverted roofing scheme. For that I increase the walls height on the roof by putting an extra layer of bricks.

You're doing amazing job with your house!
Just bear in mind that outdoor fires are prohibited in Greece and are considered a felony. You should ask local authorities to inform you if there is a period where you can burn brambles and branches

Yes we know, we never burn branches or coal when it's not allowed. The fire hazard starts on May the 1st in our area and this was recorded in the end of March.

Excellent idea for insulating the roof from the brutal Greek sun.
Not a typical Greek installation using this German/Russian method.

Thanks! It's coming good! We just realized that if we don't make the roof now, we will suffer from heat the following summer. So it needs to be finished quick.
