  • Hey guys, today we have a 2014 Lexus Ls 460. We are installing a full coil over suspension. We go through some flavor, and we also had to cut out seized suspension components. Everything was going well until the flavor kicked in. Somer parts were removable, some were not. We got the job done but with some effort. Part 2 will be how to adjust a coil over suspension. Enjoy!

I can see why the customer didn't want to install these themselves, what a pain in the ass. I can't imagine trying to do this in my driveway with my shitty tools. Nice job.

I like the way the InForce has a foaming agent that lasts just long enough so that the penetrating solution doesn't drip off. It all stays on the part - brilliant!

Definitely lots of flavor on Lexus. Hope nothing breaks on you.
By the way, the factory end links on my Challenger are about the same thickness. Luckily I've got new ones from AAD Performance that are going in now. 💪🏼✌🏼

I'll never understand why folk with cars like this (a motorised comfy chair) insist on "improving" them with lowered, hard-riding suspension. Screws up the suspension geometry too. For clarity, I've owned similar vehicles for some years now....but I also have a couple of totally different cars for when I need a blast of raw motoring.

Nice work, glad to see you uploading these longer repair vids again. While not exactly on point, this video still reminds me of the wise choice I made for not opting for the air suspension on my 2006 LS430 (21k original rust-free SoCal desert miles), which many owners end up swapping out for the "traditional" OEM suspension components (which isn't an inexpensive conversion). My car rides and handles like a dream given it's nearly 18 model years of age, very pleased with my choice of Pirelli Cinturato P7's too -- best car I've ever owned.

That poor car. Lower it down so that the flavor can meet more impact possibility, Speed on to the wrecking yard. But beautiful work as always. Say Hi to the Landy for me

I'm in the same boat with my 2012. Is there a bushing option for AWD? I know the RWD have aftermarket kits for all 8 front arms, but the AWD does not.

@@customerstateswhat I just got my car out the shop. I got all 8, tie rod ends and high fuel pressure pumps and alignment done for right under $5k. Also got some new tires from costco at $1300. So in one week I spent $6k on this car. Then I have a small seep in the valley plate, the tech said its common on the V8's but I gotta re-coup before I send her back in to get that fixed. If Lexus made more V8 sedans I would have let her go but shes the last of the LS Fsport v8's.

This is a Japanese car. Some poor Lexus engineer spent 20 years designing ONE NUT on the suspension. Three previous engineers honorably committed THAT ritual 😵because the suspension bottomed out once during testing. And now, that is all discarded to "improve" the ride! 😭😭

My thoughts exactly. Airbags aren't even that much more expensive and it's a myth they're more prone to prematurely wearing out. Otherwise class eight trucks that haul 45k lbs would not run them for 200k miles.
