Anatomy tutorial on the layers of the abdominal wall using the Zygote Body Browser (www.zygotebody.com). In this tutorial I cover the various different layers that a needle passes through when inserted into the abdominal wall, from the skin down to the peritoneum.

There seems to be great deal to consider layer by layer before you have finally dug your way into the organs Sir! Thank you for your patient explanation which was easier to understand in this animation form rather than looking at a real body at this stage

thanks sir
gooood
Looking forward. :)
Is there fascia between the muscles - i.e. between ext. and int. oblique or between int. oblique and transversus abdominus?
misskempsta I think not :)
misskempsta Yes! The fascia between external oblique and internal oblique = intermediate fascia
Internal oblique and transversus abdominis = deep fascia
thanks love
No deep fascia in between scarpa's fascia and muscles?
+salaams14 No deep fascia in the whole abdominal wall.
*could you please make a tutorial ion the autonomic nervous system?
What about the investing facsias?
Johan Puhakka Investing fascia is made up of superficial fascia, intermediate fascia and deep fascia. these are between all the 3 muscles and the fatty layer
lovely video. you're going to see my comments for 4 more years as i go through med school lol
Did you write more comments?
@@abdullahahmad4239 yes. I am now a doctor 😊
great
i stopped listening in class thanks to you
3 should be fascia profunda (gallaudet)
"Your needle or knife... or whatever..." LOL teaching murderers anatomy? :P
you do realize doctors use knives (scalpels) to cut people open?
Where is the right condition Navel. Making one video sir
Maybe think of a less violent way to describe passing through the layers of the abdomen. Talking about "inserting a knife" or a needle through the area was a bit disturbing. Otherwise, great video.
I have a question, if anyone else are watching these videos.
Why is he not mentioning the superficial facia and the facia abdominis subcutanea? Or am I misunderstanding something?
ryik
Why as a male can the stomach get so extended an everything else on your body stay small what is that called? I'm not talking beer gut but beach ball size?
Adam Rounds
perhaps you are referring to Abdominal visceral fat
khaled dawood I guess like my brother in law stomach sticks out like a huge beach ball I've seen some but his is huge!!what dose that where's a good place to view something on that
You sure its not Ascites ?
No I'm not!
prepare it well than be a professor ............
oh your accent is killing (
SIgh! the accent *__* i just want to learn everyday
No deep fascia in between scarpa's fascia and muscles?
there is a deep fascia between scarpas and muscles
I guess there is no deep fascia ,to facilitate abdominal distention for any reason like pregnancy or respiration or after meals ..etc.
