He’s. Comparing a pinto to a Ferrari
Fact, good observation 👍
Exactly! Couldn't have said it better myself! In my opinion the Pinto is more reliable in the long run and can be used as a daily driver.
I came here to make the same comment! 🤦🏼♂️
He's basicly pointing out the obvious and comparing it to better drones
The guy is an idiot … I mean that in a good way. Forget me subscribing to such bs …
You are comparing it with larger drones for the most part. So thank you for wasting our time!
They are within the same price point though, the DJI mini 4 pro with the RC screen is around a thousand dollars or more and so are the bigger drones that hes comparing them too.
Just purchased my Mini 4 pro. And I flew it for the 1st time today. This drone is insanely AWESOME. For me, it is perfect. DJI does a great job of making a drone that has amazing capabilities.
Are you a bot or this a real comment?
@edwinlime
Definitely not a bot, I also purchased a Mavic 3 pro about a week and a half ago. Love them both
Does it have a D-cinelike mode? The only thing I dont like about the dji mini 4 is the D-log mode which make the video quality looks warmer and darker. I like it more bluish tone and not too warm and dark just balance but also with high contrast. Please respond quick. Im doubting which one is to buy whether the dji mini 3 pro or the dji mini 4 pro. I like all the upgrades of the mini 4 pro except for the cinematography mode color quality.
@klein8205
To be honest, the mini 4 pro was my 1st DJI product. Before that, all I had was a Heli-Max one and a couple Walmart drones. I'm still learning both DJIs. So I cannot honestly answer that question.
@@ryanhruska6667 can you describe and rate the video and image quality before and after color grading it?
Clickbait at it’s best! Better Title would be:
5 Reasons to buy a more expensive DJI Drone!
This vid should be tagged as an advertisement
Basically he says that the top drone in its segment is not as good as more expensive drones from dji. 😂
And at the end…affiliate Link for the criticized product directly at dji 😂😂😂
Lmfaooooo
Cry about it
I think he deserves a dislike for BSing.
You are so right about this small drone having its failings. It isn't a patch on my Chinook with a full film crew and professional editing suite on board.
C'mon what do you expect for a sub 250g drone?
Mini 4 pro is arguably the best in its class. You are comparing it to its more advanced and more expensive counterparts. 😅
Bought mini 4 pro and sold my mini 3 pro. I have the mavic 3 and i don't even use it anymore. Love the small size and portability.
Would you sell me your Mavic 3?
How much was your dji 4?
This dude is comparing the mini 4 pro with a mavic 3 pro which is 4 times the price....
an international-class dude
Apples to Oranges… $800 v $3,000.
Mini 4 to Air 3 is like a $2-300 difference. If that breaks the bank well....
Have both Mavic 3 Pro and Mini 4 Pro, i find myself grabbing the mini more often. Small and compact is super nice.
Mavic 3 Pro - 950g +
Mini 4 Pro 249g
Some places require license for anything 250g or higher
exactly, they told me this in Singapore drone above 250g need a license to operate
Same with me I'm yet to make a comparison. As I love the mavic pro 3... do you know if we can pair the mavic pro 3 to the mini pro 4 controller?? Is there a way to do it. I'm tipping maybe not?
Exactly my case in Austria. Drone laws are crazy so a sub 250g drone is a no brainer for regular people.
These are not just reasons not to buy a specific mini 4 pro... He is comparing what almost all light weight drones won't do versus big ones. So if you are looking to upgrade your e.g. mini 2 or other make, stay withing low budget or wanna meet most countries legalities to fly in cities -> DEFINITELY BUY!
All you have to do is register the drone with faa. Not rocket science
Unfortunately, we cant all live in the US. Here in Canada, and many other countries it doesn't matter if you register it or not. You're legally not allowed to fly in certain "red zones" with a drone over 249 grams without transportation Canada approving a flight plan, which is a ridiculous pain in the ass. So yes, there can be SIGNIFICANT value in having a drone like this.@@techoperatives2232
This is a small, lightweight drone and that’s why I think people will buy it. To me it’s the equivalent of a small point and shoot compact camera , if you want pro-grade results, you’ve gotta buy the right tools. Manage your expectations and you won’t be disappointed.
You sound like my manager at mcdonalds
Wrong dude, I use mini 2 and my channel go up. 💪🏻
It would be nice if dji used Zeiss optics like Hasseblad does. That would be awesome.
I do appreciate the work he has put in the video, but it would make more sence to compare the DJI mini 4 pro to other 249gr drones. And (after watching some) it seems to be top of this segment on the market.
In most EU countries you have to be licensed to use drones above that 249gr. That means you can’t fly a drone with multiple lenses, a bigger sensor, more capable speed of heavier load to fight against the wind as these are ALL heavier. I would recommend to get a license if you can make money out of your drone. Otherwise, have fun with your 249gr model 😎
What's a better drone between the Air2S and the Mini 4 Pro? I'm more of a casual user and haven't had a drone since the original Mavic.
I currently have the magic Air 2s. Do you think it’s worth upgrading to this drone? Would it be considered an upgrade for that matter? I’m conflicted. The only I’m drawn to the mini 4 pro is the side sensors, which mine lacks. Please help!
Definitely not, 2s has better wind conditions + camera. They do differentiate to much for an upgrade imo.
I am going through the same thing! I really like the 360 sensors on the mini 4 pro. Hard decision
I have a Mavic Pro 3, Mavic Classic and the Air2S. I'm selling the Classic to get the Mini 4Pro Combo+ because of the smaller footprint and vertical shooting. Am I nuts?
If you don't have the Mini 3 Pro it makes sense.
Do you have any experiences with the hyperlapse on the mavic 3 pro? I've been getting constant shakes and unusable time-lapse video's. I gave up trying
Thanks for the info. I got the 4pro and i will start with this anyway. If i get pro and time i will check the bigger ones. In Finland there is a restrictions above 250g.
Which filters do you use? I need a ND4, 8 en 16...
You’re making it sound like anyone can fly any drone without a license and the same rules applies for all categories but it doesn’t…
I didn't get that impression. He certainly didn't communicate that. There are different rules everywhere. It's on YOU to determine that.
You have often made comparisons with the mavic pro. I find the comparison inappropriate with a drone that is more than twice as expensive. Besides, it's not a negative point just because another (twice as expensive) drone is better.
Exactly. There is no comparison. It’s like comparing a mini to a Lamborghini. 😂
And what your opionion on DJI FPV Mister Danny?
How on earth would you compare mini 4 pro to mavic 3 or air 3? Do you even realize the price difference?
The price difference between the Mini 4 Pro and the Air 3 is like $2-300. That's not the purpose of this video. What he says is very accurate. This hobby isn't cheap. With content creation in a windy environment the Mini 4 is useless to me. I think Ill pony up the extra $300 and have a solid option for flight in winds.
Pleaae can i link my mavic pro to a smart controller, because i need HDMI feed
Hello Danny, at 0:29 in this video the camera switches from horizontal to vertical. Is that a feature that the Mavic 3 Pro and/or Air 3 also have?
no
Dude all your tips are important, but everything are depends of the pilot. About the mini 4 pro if anyone has the mini 3 pro is not so good to have mini 4 pro. But for first drone is a good gadget. For the focal length is depends of everyone.
Thank you 🙏
Hi, would I be able to use all the possible features on RC N2 that RC 2 offers along with the mini pro 4? For eg: would I be able to use active 360 tracking on N2 controller, etc? Thanks in advance!
Yep! You just do everything on your phone instead of the built in screen
Wind is the biggest factor i get frustrated with my mini sometimes, but i wouldn't get rid of it. Its just so nice and compact and easy to carry with you. I'd like to get a mavic aswell if i can afford it.
the mavic is extremely loud 😭
There is a solution, don’t fly during windy days 😅
@OrinSigus yeah if only the whole world would come to a standstill so I can get some nice videos when it's not windy.
@@148Reaper i have mini 2, ofcourse i try not to fly when its windy but this little guy can withstand quite a heavy wind
Where is the shots that you took in Hawaii live here? That is some nice shots
???? Do you think it is compareable?????? Can you make compare with price range and another drone product like skydio vs mini 4.. base on the price line which one is the best...
Great video as always mate. I have a M3P and a Mini 2, I think its time to upgrade the Mini 2 which is still a great drone to have as a backup. Oh, any chance of putting up a picture of a baby Koala in an upcoming video for your fans down here in Australia 🙂? Keep up the great work mate!!
Hi, liked your vid, your comparing a drone that is around 895g compared to a drone that is less than 250g? here in the UK there are a lot of laws flying a drone this weight. I had a drone at 560g and basically I needed to be 150m from anywhere & 50m from people, plus I needed a License to fly. I was plotting were I could fly on Google maps with the ruler. It was a great drone btw but changed it for the DJI Mini 4 Pro..
Hey mate, nice review. When you say too windy or pretty windy, how windy is that?? Like how many mph do you think it was in the situations you’re talking about? Be really helpful, cheers
I am looking at buying a Mini Pro 4. I do not use a smartphone, am I able to use a Mini Pro 4 without a smartphone ?
I have wifi and a laptop to set it up. I am in the UK (england)
Thanks
It comes with its own remote control, you just won't be able to get the live feed from the camera, unless you use a smartphone, or the rc type controller with the screen that is sold separately.
@@JuanRamirez-bj6qe thanks
But u forgot something that - in many Countries Local laws do not allow drones use for more than 250 gr )) also in my Country
Battery life ?
Why do you comparing with large amount of drone?
Pretty impressive, looking forward to learning more. Thanks
So the mini pro 4 is under the 250g limit. Awesome thanks man good to know
Video quality is only as good as the screen of the viewer. You can shoot all day with the highest quality but it all comes down to the audiences screen.
Are you serious?
bruh why do u compare mavic series with mini series
there s a huge price difference and weight difference
I bought one and am happy with it. That being said, I had to get a replacement about two weeks in, due to a crash landing during a high wind event on Kauai. It was my fault though. I ignored the severe wind warnings. Definitely recommend getting DJI's Care Refresh.
1:24 voltage is also a key factor - Air 3 flies on 4S batteries, Minis fly on 2S - that is a significant factor especially when the battery is almost empty.
I love this video as while it's saying it's not as good as other drones, those other drones are 35% or even 250% more expensive than the Mini 4 Pro. In a very clever way this is still really praising the Mini 4 Pro for what it can do.
P.S. Regarding the storage... in the UK the drone weight limit is 250g and the Mini 4 Pro weighs in at a coincidental 249g... maybe that had something to do with it?
No, not really... DJI just put less internal storage so that the only other options are to buy a MicroSD card or get the Mavic 3 Pro or Air 3. They could have easily put in 16GB, or even 32GB, because storage only impacts weight by a few milligrams, but they didn't.
I am looking at buying a Mini Pro 4. I do not use a smartphone, am I able to use a Mini Pro 4 without a smartphone and apps ?
I have wifi and a laptop to set it up. I am in the UK (england)
Thanks
@@chillpill918 Get the Fly More kit as you'll get the RC2 remote with built in screen. No other device required.
@@PokerMuppet Thanks mate, will do !
As soon as you add anything to your drone, its overweight. Weigh your drone with the battery in. Just try it some time.
How much are you selling the mini 4 for?
i have mavic 3 and mini 4 pro ... and i always take mini4 out its just so small and convenient no one know what in my backpack ...i am no photographer but i love to take mini 4 pro to different locations more frequent then the other.
After watching this video I bought the mini 4 pro. It's awesome! Works as good as my mavic. Thanks for being so thorough!!!
For really fast subjects you should get a POV or am I wrong?
Great video, thankyou!
Hi, to use this do you need to do anything different if it’s for commercial use?
Thanks
Simon
the purpose of DJI 4 is that you do not need a license for this drone, but for Mavericks you already need a license and other better quality drones. It's like if you wanted to ride a scooter or a car 😂😁😄
Are some of these shots on Kauai at Hihimanu just over the bridge to Hanalei?? Those peaks look mighty familiar 👀
The main reason I haven't bought a Mini4 Pro is none of the current versions of DJI goggles work with this drone's O4 video transmission system. Hopefully DJI will come up with new goggles for this new O4 transmission system soon.
Bro, thanks for this comment, was choosing between m3p and m4p. m3p for me for sure now
@@vladvladimirovich912 they added compatibility today
so when your flying a 4 thousand dollar drone you don't have a problem
Not part 107 complaint, why buy?
I like your analysis. I want a good drone to film in Iceland. The winds are quite strong over there and I don't want to pay a bit less for a small drone that can't handle the winds. I Air2 S still a good buy?
The 249g allows you to grab it and take to foreign countries. That's a big deal for me since I travel a ton.
Im new to drones, don't own one yet but have been watching and reading about them the last few days. The mini 4 pro seems to be the one that most people recommend in the sub 250g range.
As i said i don't own any and have never even used one, but i think the mavic pro that you are saying is much better and does not blow in the wind is not a fair comparison, looking at prices it seems the mavic is about £900 more, so almost double the price and is heavier. You say that it blows in the wind when showing the shots over the beach, i could not see any movement at all.
As i said i'm new to drones but think its unfair to compare with what you have. (Im really disappointed in my ford escort as it just does not keep up with my Bugatti.)...
Nice video tho and have learned a few more things from you, tank you
I ordered mine, it's in the mail, now I'll watch the video on why I shouldn't buy one, lol.
Finally, an honest balanced review! Mini drones are for semi-pro/recreational use - if you are a pro - buy a bigger pro drone!
Woooah, what a surpise! And we didn´t know that before, right?
Glad you learned something new! LOL@@Boroda87
You cannot compare the Mavic 3 pro with the Mini 3 or 4 Pro. It's just not the same drone category. Might compare it with the Air 2S
I'm simply gonna jump to a conclusion, as I haven't watched this video...I CANNOT find anything my new mini 4 Pro doesn't do better than my old Mavic 2 Pro. Maybe it's a bit less stable in wind, but I'm not bummed in the least. It shoots better, too. Brilliant little machine. The new OcuSync is the game changer for me.
Does your Mini 4 Pro have both HQ and Full FOV 4K video options like a Mavic 2 Pro does?
Agree, also have the Mavic 2, the only good thing is the 1 inch sensor 25% bigger than my Mavic mini 4, the rest is much better the mini, battery performance, size, weight avoiding a license etc..
I will have the mini 4 pro shortly. But I'm getting it for a different reason. Like virtually walking through a derelict property that's not safe for a person to walk through, ya dig..
Good advice, but I‘m not interested in all the hassle involved with passing a test, and registering a bigger and heavier drone, so 249g is the limit for me.. 🤷🏼♂️
This video was exactly why I bought the Mini 4 Pro. Why, because I'm not a pro like you.Thank you, great video!
Actually the reason you bought the mini 4 pro is cause you couldn't afford the beast mavic 3 pro. Lmao
What’s the point?
This CZcamsr knows the MINI 4 PRO is very popular and an EXCELLENT Drone for many people so he decided to add this Clickbait Video.
Great video!
i have just bought my first mini 3 and its just perfect for my needs, its almost as good as the Mavic Zoom when it comes to image, as i also have the Mavic 2 Pro and the Mavic Zoom which are the perfect setup for me.
Man, if the negative points of the mini 4 are comparing it to the Mavic 3, then there are no negative reasons to buy it.
Agreed...
I previously watched this video then bought the mini 4. I am VERY happy I bought it.
Bro wants a helicopter with camera crew in under 250 gms.
Just bought it. Very good.
Ok mr oracle you know best and fk all😂
I wish I could say thank you, when every point was fixed with a drone that costs 2x the price as the mini 4 pro. This video just convinced me that it’s worth buying it lol
Comparing different drone classes is not a comparison.
Even because of different prices.
It is a very interesting video to pinpoint what the Mini 4 can’t do. If you don’t bother what it can’t do, then the Mini is for you !
Thanks.
Thanks for your review...inappropriate to compare it to a larger mavic 3...different uses/conditions
3 cameras for 3x the price. You get what you pay for. I could only afford the mini 4 pro and for someone that never had a drone before, it’s a perfect fit.
I need e mini 4 pro for real estate. I cant fly a mavic
If it's windy.
I bring out my dji mavic 2 zoom
we can buy it
we can buy it …read more
I have both Mavic 3 pro and mini 4 pro and many times i enjoy the mini😂 ill buy another mini 3 or 4 pro in a heartbeat..
Me looking this after a buy this dron in few minutes ago.. LOL
I have the mavic 3 pro, this little mavic 4 is awesome 👌 the remote is great.... just need to pick your days to fly it . Compared to the mavic pro 3
nice video man
I like the fact the video is actually about how amazing the DJI Mini 4 Pro is xD
Such a good video!
You forgot to mention the price factor, there is no point in comparing the Lexus LS to a lower-grade counterpart, the Toyota Corolla, which is also reliable but less comfortable.
Price difference between the two is huge. Not comparing apples to apples here bud! 🤷🏻♂️
Logic free comparison!
great points but the mini series is desinged to get the best out of a 250 gram weight limit for flying without licence in many countries in the eu
You're comparing 2 very different drones in the mini 4 pro and the Mavic 3
its not apple to apple if u compared it with dji mavic 3.
He's comparing a lightweight to a heavyweight. 😂
😂 you convinced me I don’t need the more expensive drone to get dope footage. Those technical specs, speed, following motorbikes, 2 focal lengths - not that serious. 😂
Appreciate the insight though.
Got a mini 2 trying to talk myself out of getting a 4 but your basically saying spend a grand more on another one. Which is not happening 😂. Was hoping you would say obstacle avoidance is shit
Feedback:
Literally ALL the CONS mentioned here are just, if this is not the right DJI drone for you, there are more expensive dji drones out!
Dont get me wrong im sure its a fantastic drone but if you could not find anything actually wrong with the drone by seriously testing it just dont make this video.
You could have literally said everything from this video in your 5 reasons for it video. Like:
So thats why its great but if you need an even faster, more stable drone with more lenses and better quality you should look at the more high end dji drones..
lol switched off as soon as you compared it to a mavric, theres a reason one weights less than 250g and other 958g lol...
