@@joeellis5766 You could tell. They’re actors but their smiles and obvious pride was really on display when their countries and cities were acknowledged. This scene really made me love Higgins. I thought they would play his character as a hapless lackey, but he was really valuable to Rebecca and the team, especially as they changed and matured.
i remember when i first watched this, the entire time i was expecting something to go wrong, like in every other sitcom that has a christmas episode. i was pleasantly surprised when i realized that wasn't going to happen
I know he does mean Kingston Jamaica but him saying Kingston in this scene cracks me up because Kingston is the name of the borough next to Richmond. It's like 10 minutes away.
One of my favorite details is that Leslie “feminine junior” Higgins and Julie named all their sons names that are just as androgynous as his name is: Lindsay, Kris, Dana, Stevie, and Terry. Such a great detail.
"Hang on, guys! I'll bring my $15,000 wooden double bass out into the freezing cold and snow and we'll jam! Sorry I'm suddenly and completely out of tune!!!"
Higgins taking the time to actually know where each of the players who came have came from really adds that but extra to the scene.
Those were the respective actors real hometowns, too.

"To the family we're born with, and to the family we make along the way"
Damn. That got me 🥲
And most importantly Tooooo Richmooooooond!!!!!
Totally. I want to steal that line for every toast that I may give throughout my life.
@@me8060 It's totally not going in my speech for my brothers wedding... "wink wink"
i just started watching. thigs guys take made me really lol
I actually stole that line for the toast I made during the rehearsal dinner last year before my wedding
His speech is amazing. I love how made it a fact to remember where everyone was from. It’s the little things in life. 😢
Higgins was handling the roster when Rebecca was too busy not caring about it in Season 1. So it makes sense.

That's my LEAST favorite movie/TV trope so I'm always ecstatic when it's left out.
Goddamn, the second Hannah Waddingham launches into the intro!!...absolute goosebumps every time, legend of a woman.
Higgins remembering everyones country and family is my favorites
I was smiling like an idiot throughout this entire episode. This was the first episode I showed my mom and now she’s just as addicted to this show.

If you're feeling down, watch this show. It's some damn fine feel good for the soul.
Fantastic dinner speech. He got every country! Respect.
Higgins is my favourite character from the show. Thoughtful, cheerful, and supportive.
This was the most wholesome episode in the entire show. Kept me smiling from start to finish
Her voice is fabulous.
She starred in west end shows before so yeah her voice is really good
@@AJMURPHY93 We didn't get a lot of West End shows in northern Canada. 😉
I still remember this coming out about 2 months before Christmas...but I loved it!
Love Ted, but Higgins is the real heart of the show
And when Higgins tells Keeley about good versus great mentors, so wonderful.
This is such a wholesome episode🥺
One of My favorite Ted lasso episodes
omg she has a powerful voice

Hannah is a triple threat - she can sing, dance and act.
New Christmas Eve tradition for sure
i swear, somebody keeps cutting onions during this scene.
They need to get more stage actors in front of a camera. Hannah is fucking amazing
Probably my favorite episode
My favorite episode of Season 2.
My favorite episode
I would trust this show to pull of a Roy Kent and ted lasso relationship arch and for it to make perfect sense. I’m saying there fucking good writers
She got a voice!
Ya man!
She was a star of the West end before this.
"Hang on, guys! I'll bring my $15,000 wooden double bass out into the freezing cold and snow and we'll jam! Sorry I'm suddenly and completely out of tune!!!"
Wow she really does have a set of pipes
Christmas goals....pardon the pun!
