At first I was really hesitant to travel to Sipalay because of the strict guidelines implemented by their city government. However, processing all documents needed upon entering Sipalay City has never been a hindrance for us to travel, perhaps it was a challenge for us and at the same time we are able to share our experience to everyone on how to travel in this new normal setting. In addition, the city along with other accommodations are kind enough to assist and give detailed instructions to all tourist/guests who wants to visit the city.

Guidelines:
Updated guidelines for tourism-related activities and travel to Sipalay City.
ALLOWED NON-RESIDENT TOURISTS
✔️ Filipino Non-resident Tourists
• residents of Negros Occidental and Bacolod City
• without travel history outside of province 30 days prior to stay in Sipalay City
• age 65 years old and below
✔️ Foreign Non-resident Tourists
• from within Negros Occidental
• who have stayed in the province before Oct 1, 2020
• age 65 years old and below
REQUIREMENTS
✔️ Filled out Sipalay Online Tourism Registration Form (register 3 days prior to travel) accessible at
tinyurl.com/Sipalay
**All tourists, regardless of age or if in group shall fill out the form
✔️ Entry confirmation sent via email from the Sipalay City Tourism Office stating that your online registration and documents are verified
✔️ Printed and filled out Sipalay Travel Form accessible at
bit.ly/SCTravelForm
duly signed by the Punong Barangay of your place of origin
✔️ Bring and present the entry confirmation from Tourism Office and filled out Sipalay Travel Form at border checkpoint upon entry for verification and upon check-in in your accommodation establishment
ALLOWED ACTIVITIES
✔️ Staycation is the allowed tourism activity which means guests should be within the premises of their accommodation establishments all throughout their stay. Travel to city proper for purchases or visit to adjacent resorts are not allowed.
✔️ Transfer of accommodation establishment is not allowed. Day trip, excursion, or travel is not allowed. Island hopping, resort hopping, and tours are not allowed.
