I’m 12 years younger than this movie and I’m so mad at myself for not being born early enough to see it in theaters! 😭😭 I love this movie, this song, and Judd Nelson!

EXCELLENT editing on this clip of one of the most unjustly overlooked '80s films coupled with SHANDI's forgotten soundtrack song! ❤

Fantastic song from a great movie. And as someone else said, editing of this clip is really great. 80's are awesome.

The car he was living in in the movie was a 1949 Nash Ambassador sedan.
What made it so interesting was that the front seats folded flat to the back seat to give you a "bed" from front to back.
It was produced when the interstate highway system was just starting to take shape here in the US and the thought was folks were driving and seeing the country so why not give them a feature in a large, comfortable, family sedan in which they can sleep and get some rest on long road trips.

@Overproctected1111 I have the rare soundtack on CD! It's awesome! I have a huge collection of 80s movie soundtracks! Once Bitten, Fright Night, Night Of the Comet, Howard The Duck, Theif Of Hearts, Scarface, Romancing The Stone, The Jewel Of The Nile, Mac And Me, Fast Times AT Ridgemont High: 30th Anniversary Expanded Edition, The Last American Virgin, Ferris Buellers Day Off, Teen Wolf, Girls Just Want To Have Fun, Batteries Not Included, Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II, The Goonies, The Heavenly Kid, Armed And Dangerous, The Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink, Sixteen Candles, St Elmos Fire, Some Kind Of Wonderful, Adventures In Babysitting, Back To The Future, Back To The Future part II, Spaceballs, The Wild Life, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Pirate Movie, Fletch, Harry And The Hendersons, and National Lampoons Vacation: Cancelled Passport Edition: to name a few. Judd Nelsen nearly got fired from the Breakfast Club for being too rude on the set, most notably to Molly Ringwald and John Hughes almost fired him but ther cast said no don't fire him! 🎥🤗💽🎬

Always thought this blew Caddyshack away. And Shand graced me with a copy when you could not find this.
    Best female rocker ever, IMHO.

I met Shandi a few times during the punk wave at Madam Wong's in Chinatown LA
I was impressed by her voice and style. One time, Richard Harris was singing McArthur's Park solo and Shandi and I were talking too loud so he stopped to tell us that. Embarasing!

I was just in Memphis this past weekend.
Went to the Peabody Hotel, had a drink in the lobby where the ducks are in the fountain
I even went to Rhodes College where they filmed all the Hoover Academy scenes and did my own versions of "this man is preppy"..."this man is not" Had a pink polo, green sweater tied around my neck and I just happened to find a tennis ball as we were by the tennis courts and track where they film the lacrosse scene in the movie, I held the ball up, put my head up with my Wayfarers on for the "this man is preppy" photo.
I took my polo off and was just wearing a white tank top along with avaiators for the "this man is not"
    I had to do it!
Never know when I'll be back in Memphis!
