I interviewed Kat more than a decade ago, and I remember wondering, "Is this for real? Is this really what she does, or is it a gimmick?" I have to say, I'm impressed that she's stuck to her guns and never strayed from her classical roots! Also, she is one HELL of a fantastic player. Nobody can deny that!
