Thank you ive searched so long for a video like this one
GREAT VIDEO ON TANK‼️ This is what I wanna see.
These reaction videos are game changers for real! I learn something new every time I watch one. Not to mention that I had no idea how many different techniques there are to know. S/O to all the experts in their field. The sweet science is why I am here. Thanks Boxing science!
Glad you like them!
Love to see an Usyk training methods review, he's got quite a bit of footage available online too. If you've already covered him and I've overlooked it, my apologies! Love these review tapes.
A big ups to this channel

Great vid…. Great breakdown.. I wish I could get trained like that…
Been waiting on this

Thanks for subscribing
I need this vedio from long time👏
I love these reaction videos. Great content 👍
Glad you like them!
Great break down. New subscriber
Great channel!
This is a Great channel 👍👍👍
Dunno if one can really argue with all the "mistakes" here as it works for him and what he's specifically trying to achieve.
Love the motto - class
Agreed. It's a difficult one, because even if the "pro" is off here and there in others opinions, it is what has helped them reach elite level.
Thanks for sharing. Interesting video. Greetings from Germany
Glad you like it 👊
Thanks for all the tips… 😊
You are so welcome!
Would love to see top tier boxers use methods suggested
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
This channel is very underrated
Thanks for appreciating the content
I would love for your group to produce an athlete that can hit harder than gervonta doing correct versions of gervontas workouts.
Brilliant
this one will be tough to execute cos there prob wont be enough info on it but if u can do marvin hagler training reaction, that guys stamina was something else
We will take a look
If everything Davis doing is wrong but he undefeated with the strongest punch in multiple weight classes what does that say about your credibility 🤔
Do u have a strength and conditioning workout for boxers anywhere like a website or stn
Skills pay the bills
open a branch in India man, this type of training are largely missing here and I would love to join.
Bench press sucks. Power comes from kinetic linking and weight transfer. You don't muscle punches its reactive
my brother yes i agree power comes from the legs glutes back and core but bench pressin will work the fast twich muscle fibers like speed of punches
No tf it doesn’t suck lmao, Bench is a must for increasing punching power it’s just that benching doesn’t, it allows u to punch harder but it doesn’t let u punch harder it just increases potential. What makes u punch harder is plyometrics(upper body)+ core work. If u just do plyo without weights it don’t mean shit.
The expert that has 3 belts in 5 weight division stfp clown
It’s always better to do some exercises than to not do them at all , hopefully that makes sense .
push ups, pull ups, dips helps build fast twitch muscle fibers. Bread n butter Calisthenics/ body weight exercises are gold.
The sauna suit is for mental toughness
What specific hydration methods do you suggest to do after using the sweat suit ???
Water??
I want to train with you! Regards from Mexico
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Strength and conditioning is good for boxing . Like doing road work , running hills , yes reps to do on weights but both amateur boxers and professional boxers only do a little lift weights not much . Boxing all cardiovascular , strength and conditioning, techniques to develop match strategy also.
7:39 What is this bar that she’s lifting is called? I’ve never seen one before.
Weight room doesn’t transfer to a faster or harder punch. It’s technique and genetics
Role of strength training in context of boxing is
1/ gain weight. Probs only time absolute force of punch may increase as you are moving more mass ensuring technique etc remain equal
2/ injury prevention/protection
Ger-von-huh Davis!
I will love to see some videos that gives pointer on how Boxers build strength in their shoulders to do more punches without getting tired.
Come on now. 1.2 times his body weight is not 90 kilos (198 lbs) Tank is a lightweight that fights at 135, 200 lbs on the bench press is higher then that. Max is irrelevant for a fighter. Tank is only 5'5'', he would need way more muscle mass then that to support a bench that high.
He fights at 135, u think he walks around that low lol?
@@Ali-ns6fx he walks around 145-150 now
I’m so late on this vid. With a really specific question but here we go. At 10:00, sauna suit. You said increase core temp, increased physical demands… did you mean physiological demands? How would core temp increase physical demands?
Hey I have a question. How many reps/sets do we do for most of these exercises?
It depends if you're looking for explosive strength somewhere between 8-12 if you're looking for muscular endurance as many ass possible (at least 25)

How can I contact you brother
That's why you're 'boxing scientists', not world champs LMFAO
You know they train boxers right
Mike tysons coach and father figure cus damato wasnt a world champ either so whats your point 😂😂
Pls also do Floyd Mayweather training a analysis !!!
Yes.... I would love to see that. I have never seen Floyd use weights then again I have only seen what is on CZcams. So that would be an interesting analysis.
@@luvbig41 there's one Clip where I saw him doing a lat exercise on a Machine ..
But yes I've never seen him doing a Strict free weight Exercise ....
Noted! It's on the list!
@@BoxingScience Thank u
You brother 🙏
I think it was 75 kg
The bar looked like not standard but around 10 kg
20 kg
10 kg

his legs are really small and skinny does that mean you diont need biug legs for punching power
You shouldn’t do full range pushups for punch power 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Sports Science should stay away from boxing. All the old school fighters were better conditioned and more robust then any fighter I’ve seen that have worked with Sport Science.
How does science explain a fat fighter like Tyson fury defeating and athletic built fighter like wilder
That's the beauty of the sport - there are massive outliers and unique stories. Andy Ruiz is another. The general rule of thumb is that a talented fighter always prepares the best way possible to maximise their abilities
Lifting weights doesn't do any of that, what are you talking about. Breland was a twig, Jackson didn't lift heavy, Maidana didn't lift. You are just promoting your business. You don't have to make up things to do it
He’s just saying what he believes works. He’s not bashing tank. No need to attack the man especially on his CZcams channel brotha
Did you mean to say hitting with double t, so why do you pronounce it heeen? 😂🤣😅😆😅🤣😂!
You need to use your 'right ' brain more and then you'll have a more complete understanding of boxing and effective training methods . Too much science and not enough artist in your observations and analysis
How have you made this observation?

Basically you saying - Tank is doing mostly everything wrong….seems to be working for him thou yea ??
I think he does some good stuff, he actually has a new S&C coach that's doing really good and interesting work with him... maybe worth a second episode! here's actually some clips I couldn't use due to copyright, discussed about heart rate monitors and how he looks after his body - look at my Instagram channel for these. There's some stuff we praised, some we critiqued.. It would be a boring video if we just went "that's great if it works for him"
How to condition the shoulders and arms to avoid getting tired when sparring or punching the heavy bag without getting tired???
What type of exercises can a 14 yr old boxer do
All the excercises
@@saintzig heavy squats?
@@ismailmiah1446I’d stay away from heavier weights till ur at least 16
@@yahirmedina9624 not me my son is 14...yes at the moment he does explosive based and bodyweight things...
Do everything explosive with your son. Don’t focus so much on doing anything under 3 reps, since the risk for injury is higher with lower reps and you can achieve similar results with other rep ranges 4-6, 6-8, 10-12, 12+ etc. The main thing is you really just want to be controlled on the negative, and explode on the positive as fast as you can regardless of how much weight you’re pushing.
If there’s two areas your son should “specialize” his training in its Lats and Legs. All boxers with KO power have next level lats and legs.
Jump squats, Lunges, Pull-ups, Rows (of any kind), Hyperextensions (look them up).
And a ton of core work, which I’m sure you guys already do…! Good luck.
