How to DESIGN a Small Large Ship | FULLY FUNCTIONAL! (Space Engineers)

Today I bring to you another how to video! In this one we take a look at designing and laying out a small LARGE SHIP. Use these techniques for your own builds and be sure to up load them to the workshop. Sorry for the lack of videos I've be quite busy lately but I hope to get back on track soon!

The ship came out wonderfully. I like how compact the interior is, that’s something I’ve always struggled with but this has been very helpful. I’m gonna build a small ship now, great video as always 👍🏻.

Nice ship. I'd probably add a shield generator or warp core in mine. I like to have as many options as I can functionally fit.

So I tried to follow along with this as best as I could, I wanted to start out with something small and this fit the bill and the interior is awesome, but as I tried to change the shape of some blocks on the outside, a fire some erupted internally and now the bottom engines won’t light at all, I think there’s a lose connection 😂

Keep it up! With the h2 on the outside like that its asking for kaboom time :) but yeah great ship, the interior feels so natural and doesn't feel like you're trying to cram everything in. Good job!

I’m considering getting into S.E hopefully with a crew of my own.
This seems like a good “motorhome” ship to start off with. I might make mine a bit larger to accomodate a crew of three, weapons, and defences.
If you read this, any advice for a starter ship design-wise?

tip nr1: stay away from small block grids. always use large grid.
the game limits the amount of blocks you can use.
