- You would think that after Geometry Dash 2.1 being out for five years, we would know everything about the game by now. However, in this video I cover 10 interesting but unused/removed/lost features that you might not have known about!

THIS IS AN APRIL FOOLS VIDEO, PRETTY MUCH ALL FACTS ARE FAKE!! Honestly, I don't like this video nearly as much as last year's (the 150th coin one). Much lower effort and a lot less creative, I feel guilty since it's just nine minutes of me spreading misinformation then going "haha april fools!!" at the end. And it's not because I was demotivated or anything, really I just struggled to come up with a new interesting idea. I know I can't top last year's video so I'm not going to try to, and I absolutely refuse to clickbait 2.2 again. So I ended up settling on this wacky idea. The final product came out fine, I just wouldn't call it my best work. Some facts ARE real, which just makes things more confusing. I'll go into more detail in a future second channel video.

April Fools!! almost every fact is fake, trickster fox boy strikes again (yes i will gladly spoil this because misinformation is bad)
I know this video definitely isn't as good as last year's but I really wanted to try something new instead of copying an old idea or clickbaiting 2.2 yet again. Speaking of 2.2, hopefully it brings more interesting ideas for the next few years. This video definitely isn't my proudest but I think it still came out fine, but I feel guilty since in the grand scheme of things it's just me telling lies for 9 minutes then going "haha jk" at the end.
If you're wondering which facts are actually real (some are real, some are false but based on a real discovery), I'll be uploading a video to my second channel later.

nearly everything before the potbor confession sounded so true wtf, and even if it wasnt realistic you worded it in a way that made it sound legit
The best part about this is that not everything is made up, like the unused transition trigger.
Also that rickroll was very creative

The "Diabolical Monstore" Is a direct reference to Scrupulous Fingore, an unused enemy in Super Mario.
Even the reaction of Robtop was the exact same as it was with the Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Nintendo.

Fun Fact:
The game had an anti piracy in its beta versions. It would pop up when it detected you pirated the game and would disable all online features. It also asks to buy the full game because it supports RobTop. There is a screen shot online. I can't remember the link though.

Colon does April Fools so well. I already knew it was April 1st but he still sort of convinced me to the point to think this was a combo of actual unused features and April Fools jokes.

I'm pretty sure it is, the green transition and start pos are actually real objects and levels have been made with them
The hidden rickroll was so clever I was genuinely confused for a sec until i remembered what April Fools' anthem was
Also the Ultra Low Detail Mode sounds like a genuinely great feature, deffo could help with beating modern demons where you can't see the level at all
The ULDM could be used to make some memory levels too easy
uldm is added to the lite version along with some more 2.2 stuff
It say it will only remove glow though, that could mean the particles, subtle glow from blocks, and glow objects itself
It's name is also changed to ELDM

I have a theory that in 2.2 they will add blue coins that are practice mode coins that will still give you icons but not the same icons that you’ll get whenever you get normal coins.

The text is not hardcoded but it is a text object linked to a death trigger
The fingerdash message is actually used, if you die when you tap the first green orb, the game makes the line pop up.

ID 55 was actually added in 2.2 and is an object you can use, but it is not solid
I messed around with the level edit hack on megahack to get the secret coins to work. I found out that if you click Edit Object, it uses the old Edit Object UI. It also can not be copy pasted or saved as a custom object. They can also be placed in custom levels, but reloading causes them to disappear. You can also place infinite of them.

Hoenstly, I would've loved to actually see scripulous_fingore in a Mario title. Something like a finger gun attack would have been genius. But seeing as how Miyamoto was upset when asked about it, I doubt we'll be seeing it officially...

I always look forward to your April fool's videos because they always are a lot of fun to watch, and this one was no exception, but this time you made most of it sound legit. The only truly outlandish part I felt was when you were talking about potbor's cut dialogue, but aside from that, you did a good job of making this video look legit, good job :)

1:17 - When I scrolled into the comment section to type this, I found out this is an April Fools' video. I recognize this block as I've played 2.2 before. In the 2.2 editor, it appears next to the blue teleport portal. But it's unused, you put the blue portal in platformer mode and you can freely move the yellow one.

the fingerdash one uses the “on death” trigger you could’ve said “fingerdash doesn’t have one because “hold to dash” was made using a trigger in the editor” that way you could’ve made it look more real

Opinions on the possible 2.2 changes of old levels:
BAB/Electrody spike fix: Good change.
HF duel change: I liked the difficulty of it and I figured out how to do it every time. Bad change.
BP mini ship: Neutral change.
EA blocks removed: Probably won't happen because that's the thing EA is known for. Bad change.
SM coin rebuff: I don't know why Rob thinks a coin in the easiest level has to be this difficult but I like it. Good change.
TOE2 ship nerf: I really hope this doesn't happen because then it would be boring to play. Bad change.
Fingerdash gravity portal: If Rob put S blocks there, which I assume he did, it's awful. Bad change.
I glad that at least you understand that there is *literally* nothing wrong with the Hexagon Force dual part. People act like it's "buggy" and "doesn't make sense", when all you have to do is know when to click.
And for the people who need it explained in detail, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO, is click two times quickly to hit the orb as the bottom cube BEFORE the top cube lands on the ground.
I even checked it just now to see how hard it is. And WOW. Not only do you not even have to click two times quickly at all (just don't hold long enough for the top cube to jump), but it EVEN GOES TO THE SONG.
