For the 3rd coin in power trip, I have an idea. After clicking 4 times, it shows the coin, but the coin is moved back so it looks like you're chasing it. So the coin will be on the end of the level, meaning using the skip won't give you the third coin.
That would make it really distracting and would make it hard to focus on the actual gameplay

That text object actually changes text every time since it uses the random trigger to show off that randomize feature.
my idea was to put a spike there, so youre forced to jump and see the text lit up

There is actually another skip you can do in power trip.
when you are in wave for the first time, after going through the teleport portal TWO times, a small area in the wall will open up just before you go into mirror mode. going through this area will allow you to complete the level in an empty, open and free area where you can spam, or rest to the end while still enjoying the music.
ive tried to do that on my phone, but its pretty precise

This is so wild, I replayed SubZero in early June this year and then left it again two weeks later. I definitely had to google how to get the old coins. Never would've expected them to get changed thanks to a youtube video!

Another very small thing about Power Trip 3 that I like is that you have to jump to reach it, so it isn't completely free after turning the text green

Unpopular opinion: Map packs aren't that bad it's just a few bad levels and it's more of a museum than an actual thing
This is legendary. Just one video changed 8 of the 9 coins in a spin-off game. This shows there are devs that actually listen to their community.

Colon, the "ORD" thing... that's actually a thing called "Order". It's used when a pad or orb that isn't set to Multi-Activate has a Reverse on it. I discovered it while playing 2.2 Unlocked. There's a setting on the Editor Pause Menu called "Record Order", and that actually should be turned on.
I think the other harmless bugs like those in Clubstep, and the missing spikes and other stuff really give a character to the main levels and make them feel like they were made by Robtop.
I'm happy that you said that the skip doesn't need to be fixed because people actually like it. It's nice that you were able to see the bigger picture instead of just thinking of it as another problem to be fixed:)

in power trip at the wave part, when you reverse, you can glitch and go forwand leading you to complete the level
I am actually so happy for you, it must feel great knowing that you had such a big impact on a part of the game, I can imagine some stress about some reactions after the video became so popular, but honestly it was a great, entertaining, VERY well made and your points were so well explained! One thing he could done to the 3rd coin in Power Trip is, when you activate the coin, the layout for the spider gets more difficult for a small extra challenge.
Also, glad Rob went back and actually fixed the coins, cause most mobile devs would give to yoddles if their game is bugged or not. Big W for the dude 😎

Rob also fixed the fact that your percentage goes back when going back in the power trip wave part and stuff. This is a small change but made the show percentage button more useful.
agree with that but when i was playing 'power trip' i noticed another secret way that is shorter than the level. It is on the first wave, in front of the mirroring portal you need to release and hold, then you go straight and the level ends at 70-80%. I hope you will see
Robtop is a hero. If he didn't make those changes, we wouldn't have gotten another very entertaining to watch video from I Love GD Cologne

also in the laser triangle part after the second straight one when you go up and come back down through the bottom, sometimes it would face you the other way, into the void of nothingness. you would stay as a laser and at 70%, you would beat the level. I think ot only worked in practice though 😅
10:09 this video is ages old but i just wanna say that in power trip you can skip the level from like 50% in the wave part, you need to skip the portal at the top, then hold to pass the slope with that smiley face and it will take you to 100%.

Another bug that robtop should NOT fix in 2.2: in the spider, with normal gravity, if you reverse your gravity to be upside-down, then on impact with the platform, if you hit a size change portal at the same time, you will have reversed your gravity but the icon will get confused and think that you haven't.

@@ninjapenguin3804 To get the second coin you need to fly between two electric balls in the second swingcopter, where the electricity between them is slightly darker. It reveals the coin together with additional 3 balls to connect everything and disallows you to exit the level

8:40 i play with ldm enabled so there is no circle effect, so i had to bash my head into everything until i noticed the sparkle

Fun fact: with the new update the progress bar doesn’t go down when you go backwards (sadly we also can’t access 2.2 even closer throughout saved levels.)
The 2nd coin in Power Trip has also a slight difficulty increase aside from the obvious changes
Apparently if you tap the jump orb too early it'll bump you into the coin, but also then right into the spike next to the landing.

11:30 I figured out the coin's route, here. Before you go into the cube portal, you can go up, with the spider. And when the pillars, with the spikes are coming down, you would die, so you have to teleport down, into the lava. I think, the will be a portal, to an other gamemode, and to come back, after the coin you need to be in upside down gravity.

Personally I'd make it so that Power Trip's second coin kept the invisible part, but made it so that instead of getting launched into the coin, you'd fall into the rainbow which would make you fall into the coin, like what you suggested.

Hey how you get the 2.2 editor. Is that gdps? Or is it a mod made by you?
I noticed 2 things in power trip:
1:in the 2nd coin the 2nd orb is a kinda tricky timing, not because it's hard, but because you wouldn't expect it to be a timing, so you might buffer it and just die, and remain a little confused.
2: when you do the spider secret way, you complete the level when the percentage on the progress bar is still at 96%, because the bar measures the lenght of the level how it should be without the skip, that has a part that goes back right after, while with the skip you just go forwards
5:59 the fact that that was legitimately my initial reaction to seeing the location of that coin
For anyone wondering :p at 12:27 it says *more secret coins yes. One option would be to move map pack rewards to somewhere else or recreate map packs with new levels. But it’s not something I currently have planned.

There is another way to skip power trip completely breaking it as well. This skip is located in the wave portal where you can skip and have no objects stopping you
You can actually skip 50% of Power Trip in the wave part, You have to let go early in the part where you go reverse and you will end up noclipping and ending at 78%
in the new update there's a new "secret way" on power trip in the first wave part, you just have to go up to the teleport portal but then go down before it teleports you and for some reason that lets you avoid getting reversed so you get to skip the entire rest of the level
The new collectables you receive in meltdown / sub 0 don't get loaded into regular gd. It just sets those icons to default. I'm sure this will change when 2.2 comes out.

RobTop later commented that he agrees with Colon."

One time I was doing a Nock Em run When I Was going up to get the key for 2nd coin I went frame perfectly over the key and survived and then immediately paused and thought "HOLY CRAP HOW DID I FRAME PERFECETLY SQEUZE IN AND SURVIVE?" I Love the videos keep up the great work!
11:09 bro the mario community (especially Mario Maker) calls a path made by the level developer to make it easier (it's usually just a hidden block with a vine so that pretty much only the developer knows about it) a "dev path". And any unintentional shortcuts (like the skip in Power Trip) "cheese". It's definitely better than whatever tf "secret way" means.
