    Hi, Can you tell me how many watts each of your coils are? Also what gauge wire did you use to power this ? And the size of the breaker. Thanks

    • @welding2go
      @welding2go  Před rokem

      Hi Michael , each burner is 3000 watts. I used 10 gauge high temp wire with fiberglass shielding. Running all four burners would require a minimum of a 60amp breaker. Please confirm with licensed electrician thx

  • @robertbragg9364
    @robertbragg9364 Před rokem +2

    Did you need 4 heating elements because of the size and to save time? Would one heating element work? I'm building my oven 3ft x 3ft and plan on using 1 hearing element so I can run 120v instead of 220v. Really just trying to figure out if that'll work. I know it's going to take longer to heat up but the more efficient I build the oven the faster it'll heat up was my thought. Yours looks great and it looks as good as the ovens for thousands of dollars. 👍

    • @welding2go
      @welding2go  Před rokem +2

      Running 120v will work but not efficient. On our build we are running 4 heater in order to heat up evenly and quickly. 3’x 3’ I would run 2 burners 3000watt each @ 220v

    • @KMLTimesTwo
      @KMLTimesTwo Před rokem +2

      Not sure if you already built yours or not, but want to add that you will probably want more than one element. I have a double oven that is modified into a single oven and I have 2 elements. I have an element on the top and bottom. I am actually planning to switch out the bottom element to a bigger one. The initial temperature ramp up is not an issue really, but getting back up to temp quickly (and getting large parts up to temp) after your door has been open from putting in the parts is an issue for me. Good luck!

    Hi
    Did you not need to install a circulating fan for the build.? Or is it working ok without one.

    • @welding2go
      @welding2go  Před rokem

      Hi Kevin , Fan is not required, you don’t want any air movement within the oven when setting powder.
