Dungeon Warfare 2 is the definitive sequel to Dungeon Warfare, a challenging tower defense strategy game where you become a dungeon lord to defend your dungeons with the deadliest of traps and insidious contraptions against greedy adventurers and wannabe heroes.

The runes can be added before you start a level and they add various positive and negative modifiers. The best thing is they start unidentified and you can get a bonus if you equip them unidentified and play the level with them.
Holy shit, never thought you'd pick this up. Probably my most favorite tower defence game. Got the 1st one off my high of playing Orc's must die and being able to combo mobs with traps. Once you get high level combo-ing traps is super fun. Pushing enemies into a flipper that flings enemies into pits or other such things etc. Not sure if they will ever make a 3rd but it would be my most wanted game in the genre.
I'm a bit sad this game never got alot of publicity. When you search top 10 tower defence games I don't think this shows in any video - so your doing a great service to this developer by showcasing this game. Good job on you! Thank you for spreading awareness of this awesome series.

I don't normally like videos, I'm liking this one because you are covering one of my favorite games.
Oh a classic tower defense game, It holds up for quite a long time untill any particular strategy stands out, even then its not required to do cheese strategies which is nice.
I remember when Wanderbot played this, And I loved watching it. I really hope you do a full series on this, it's a really good game with a well balanced skill tree, in an odd way. This one is kinda like Kingdom rush in which you usually want a different loadout on the skill tree for each level you play, making the meta game decently hard to do, but still relatively easy. I hope you do this man.
I mean I get it, but this game is such a different vibe to Kingdom Rush I don't get it.

@@samsemy6825 Yeah, but what im saying is the fact that in kingdom rush you have to reset your skill tree and place points elsewhere to win certain battles. that' what im talking about lol.

Watched this for 10 minutes and immediately went and bought it. Was even on sale for 66% off, so nice deal. It seems like it has a ton of replay-ability and different tactics as well as a path of exile map system to increase rewards while increasing the difficulty. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
There’s an upgrade later that allows you to build on barricades as if they were walls. Picked up the game after your video and remembered you mentioning the possibility.
Oh, this is a very neat game! I have played a bit of this one!
Every objective except beating the map is a bonus objective, You can ignore the "do not use the dart trap" or "protect all the doors" side objectives to just get by and unlock new stuff then come back for more XP and a few bonuses.

For those who think this game is easy, it is not. One of the hardest and most creative TD games I’ve ever played. I’ve been stuck on a couple of levels a long time and have forgotten about it to be honest.
Anyone else reminded of GemCraft? Yes it has very different Traps and a different artstyle, but some sprites, the UI and some mechanics apart from the traps looks pretty similar
Love this game. Another I'll definitely pick up. On sale for like 5 buck right now too! Hope we get a series of this. Maybe switch inscyption to once a week???

To 2min blockade and make your stratagey explodey dwarf proof simply sell the top two barricades to give them a straight shot at the core and then defend the hell out of that corner with chakaram, dart, harpoons and spikes.
24:11 easy map if you block the center path with barricades.
I love this game.
The rush all waves has a button which is the ! In the bottom left corner
You clearly know in your mind that "1 or more doors" meant that just one door being destroyed already fail the objective. 😂

Send all units again and spend all money on barricades right by the boulders to stack them up lol. (Not backseating just think it'd be funny.)

It has ! Bought it a second time on PC after farming on mobile for a while, 20 hours later, still a ton of things to unlock
This isn't like a "Oh he didn't use it this way boohooo" thing, just an observation, but based on the description I think the chakrams bounce off walls. They would be really nice on that right-most wall of that map.
I think i might pick this up. In my youth, i played a decent amount of tower defense games. Pandemic times made me revisit with Bloons.
Any recommendations from any TD fans on ones i should look at? (Note: overall, i am a bad gamer. More of a casual that loses focus easily)
I've played dozens of TD games over 20 years and my fav by far is the Gemcraft series.
