Awesome job 👏
I just want your opinion if this is better than the fujifilm xt30 ii? Since the fujifilm is 100$ more than this camera
Nice video. 🤙🏼
Thank you! 😀
I am considering this camera, I would primarily use it for landscape and astrophotography. some wildlife is possible. so I am a newbie. I am debating rebel T7 vs R10 so can you explain what difference?
Hi Damien, yes of course. The Canon EOS Rebel T7/EOS 2000D is a 24.1MP DSLR camera that has some good quirks like a low price point, decent image quality and a huge choice of lenses. However, the T7 can only shoot at up to 3fps burst mode, 1080p video and has a basic autofocus system.
This would make it very difficult to shoot wildlife because of the 3fps burst mode and the type of autofocus system the T7 has, especially with it having an older processor.
Whereas the R10 is a 24.2MP mirrorless camera that shoots 23fps electronic, 15fps mechanical, has an autofocus system that has been derived from cameras like the EOS R3, 4K 60P video and even 1080P 120P if you wanted to try out some high-speed recording.
The Digic X processor in the R10 is relatively new and the new performance and image quality-based improvements include improved noise-reduction processing. Making the R10 better in low light situations opposed to the T7, which I think would benefit you when shooting astrophotography.
Yes, the R10 is double the price point but I think if you wanted something more future proof and an entry into Canon's EOS R mirrorless system then personally, I would go for the Canon EOS R10.

Which lens is good for r10 ....can you please suggest me ..or the combo of 155 mm was good enough
55-250mm
Can you test out the low light capabilities ?
Hi Donovan, thanks for watching!
Unfortunately we didn't get chance to test the low light capabilities but when we get the R10 back in our hands, we'll be sure to test out the low light performance. Although we didn't shoot in low light conditions, the R10 is a great all rounder camera and both Ella and myself were very impressed with the autofocus and image quality. Keep an eye out on our channels for future video. 🙂
I am planning to buy a R10 but damn the crop is insane even with 18mm looks very close
Are you looking for a vlogging camera in particular? You may want to consider a Nikon Z30 (we have a vlogging test of this coming up in a couple of weeks) or maybe a Sony ZV-E10. The EOS R10 can be used for vlogging, as we demonstrated, but if this is your sole purpose then you'll maybe prefer the other options available and find they frame your face better! Thanks for watching.
Lenses are what’s preventing me from buying a canon. If they come out with a compact apsc 14 or 15mm lense I’ll reconsider
@@superstringsbro You can buy adapters to other lenses than Canon's.
@@usernamemykel I don't want an adapter. I want a small lightweight camera
Just recieved my R10, can't change aperture from "F00", settings are not locked, Manual mode, doesn't matter whether a lens is attached. PLEASE ASSIST. Thank you!
Hi, if you bought it from us then please contact our Customer Service team making sure to quote your order number and someone will be happy to assist 👍🏻
As a photographer since I bought my first SLR back in the early 80s, believe me when I say any camera that cost £900 is NOT an "entry-level, beginners camera"
It is these days! 😄 My first DSLR was Pentax K1000 in the 80's, so I'm the same age as you.
You're thinking "behind the times", when everything but televisions were less expensive.
I think they meant, "Beginner Friendly"
I'm confused if i should get the R10 or R50. I am disappointed by the selection of RF-S and canon's refusal to allow third party producers like Sigma to produce cheaper optics with autofocus.
Will it be a big change if i replace the canon d1300d with the canon r10, i will add that i am intermediate and want to photograph birds, animals and sometimes landscapes and some portraits
You'll see a big difference between the two, particularly with AF for birds and animals. You'll also benefit from the higher resolution for portraits and landscapes. Moving over to the RF system will also allow you to use lenses like the RF 100-400mm which will probably be a good, more affordable, telephoto zoom lens for a range of photography. It should be a great upgrade for you :) If you're in the UK, then check out our current offers online and remember we also offer part-exchange! www.wilkinson.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=canon%20eos%20r10
