Nice job and great review 👍. If you don't mind me asking, around how much do you charge to do an all-around tint (including front windshield) using 3M Crystalline film on a Maverick? I've had a great experience using this film on my Lincoln MKZ. It blocks the heat from entering the cabin very well during the hot summer months. Currently, I'm getting quotes of around $900 - $1100 using 3M Crystalline, $750 - $850 using Llumar Ceramic, and $199 - $249 using basic film. By the way, I'm in Southern California.
Personally in my area of Ohio which is a pretty rural area, I'm at $500 for everything including a windshield strip and $720 if you want the full windshield done. Pricing really varies a lot by area, I'd recommend just finding a reputable shop that has the best warranty and best reviews and pay whatever they want. It's a one time investment if done right, to me it's not worth trying to save a couple of dollars on something I'll only need to buy one time for the life of the vehicle. Just my opinion though. I agree, I'd rather pay the extra money for the good stuff. Not all shops carry the high quality film as cost turns off most customers. In the end, you get what you pay for.
Not with quality film. I don't tuck the F series trucks below the seal either and I've done hundreds with no issue. As long as you let it dry for a couple of days and make sure there are no fingers or anything and you'll be all good
Also why don't you spend a little extra money and get a better torch? I know the one you're using runs about $10 or whatever cheaper but the 1 automatic Just clicks and comes on as much as I use my torch to warm up my glass. I wouldn't use the cheaper one
Because when I bought this one it ones the only style anyone had and I haven't felt the need to get online to order one yet. No one around here carries the "good" torches for tinting. Lol
No, I don't carry 20 inch rolls. Usually I use that extra that I cut off the top of the window for windshield strips. Body shop accounts or even regular customers that need only one window done make up less than 1% of my work. Also, when you're talking about the price per foot when ordering in bulk like I do, I'm wasting less than a dollar worth of material in a case like this. 20" rolls would be more efficient but it would add a lot of extra hassle to manage a 20" roll in every shade I carry and every tier of film. Not worth saving a few pennies. I hope that answers your question.

So you didn't go below the seals on this? Isnt that a recipe for disaster/peeling?
