They did stick up for Shannon after the guest was gone. I actually thought the guy had some very good ideas. I didn’t hear him say that he thought TJ was guilty. All I heard him say was how he thought some NBA teams would react to him, and he probably is right.

There was a comment made during this video that left me completely baffled. Finkelstein said (paraphrasing here): we hear all the time about things teams discover when doing their pre-draft due diligence that ultimately affect a player's draft stock, but of course, we can't report those things. Huh? Why not? If you learn that a team passed on "player x" because none of his teammates could stand him, why would you not report that? Members of the media say/write things all the time that are based on anonymous sources, much of it far worse than some NBA executive's opinion about a player's "character." Oh, and one more thing... being asked how Terrence Shannon's acquittal will affect his draft stock is not a "loaded question." It's a reasonable, logical thing to ask, and dodging it tells me more about Finkelstein's character than it does TSJ's.

I tend to agree with him on not reporting alot of negativity when it pertains to the draft and the big reason is for a reporter it's all rumor , gossip, and third party information for the most part, most aren't going to be that intimately close to the situation to responsibly give an accurate account or evaluation that could seriously affect another person's life even if you may be fairly sure the information you are getting may be valid but I will say with one caveat? Unless they have had a personal situation with that player that they can draw credible evidence from
That's just my opinion but I would much rather see some sit on some information alluding to possible low ch
aracter flaws than report about them to add some spice into a story only to find out that it wasn't true? Highly exaggerated or the kid fixed it with.an attitude adjustment .to me that is responsible reporting

Little disappointed on the Ty discussion. The way he’s being talked about feels disrespectful. Why is it out of the realm of possibility he can both improve finishing at the rim and ft% while ALSO developing into a shooter that at least demands more than to be guarded by a rim protecting big sitting in the lane? Why is it just pick 1 going into his 3rd season??? He already developed so much in those first 2 categories from year 1->2

How about you two show some backbone for once too. This guy was talking like the case wasn’t clear cut. Speak up or you two are part of the problem just like that girl who accused TSJ

WTF...why do we need analysis to have "energy"?! Do you want your neurosurgeon to be exciting, or correct? Go drink some Monster Energy or whatever.

You’re right he doesn’t have to have energy. Nor does he have to have integrity…I’m tired of reporters TOO SCARED to stand on one side of the fence or other. Soft journalism
