Damask going to Bulls was pretty sweet! I hope he excels and works his way into the roster. He has a great all-round game and his style fits.

Im shocked if we are not in top of league the way the Illinois media is playing up the off-season we had

Curious on a sober take on Illinois improvement in Big Ten standings with the additional of Riley. Do they become a top 4 team with him, or were they already that?

I'd say I have them somewhere in the 5 to 8 range in the Big Ten. I know Riley is a 5 star but I have a tough time putting faith into freshman until you see them live.

The Illini would probably be top 10 with Riley and 1 of the favorites in the Big Ten.

The Illini are going to be at the top of the Big Ten, Brad is the man whether you want to admit it or not…

I don’t think Kasparas starts now. I think it’s a battle between Ty and Tre for a starting spot and if Tre has been the best, then he gets the start. I’m going with a starting 5 of
    Big T
    Ben H
    Tre
    Riley
    Bos

Are we sure he's getting a full 2 million? Maybe it's exaggerated a bit. Still, good for Coleman.

They would've run into UCONN either in the Elite 8 or in a Final 4 so it's hard to say that Illinois would've somehow dodged UCONN. They got put against the best and they lost and they would've lost no matter what

Would have been way better to run into them in final 4 not in Boston. That stadium was rocking.

@@tjn2254 I don't think so. Can you imagine Illini nation flocking to Phoenix/Glendale, AZ to witness a flop of a national semifinal game? I'm actually glad that didn't happen. If you're going to go to the Final Four, you'd better be a team that will give the opponent a good fight for a whole game, not one half. Be happy many of us didn't waste hundreds of dollars on flight/hotels/game tickets to witness a beatdown

  • @davidperez-hernandez478

Why not have a foreign trip this year? Seems like this would be the yer we need it most to bring together a new team. ROI seems so high. Maybe good question for BU?

(I believe) They're only permitted to take one every 4 years per NCAA rules.. but I definitely agree with you that this team would greatly benefit. That being said, there's going to be some ups and downs early, but come March this team could be really, really good. ILL 🧡 💙

That is correct. You can only take a foreign trip once every four years

Credit to the accuser for taking the stand?? Really Jeremy? She lied and almost ruined an innocent man’s life. You don’t get much lower than that as a human. We should be shaming her for what she did. Grow some balls

Perfectly put. It’s laughable when cases get solved. Facts are clear…and still journalists are afraid to say anything. Hard to look at yourself in the mirror as a man…but keep pushing content

Sorry, guys but you're both wrong. SOP for a rape defense is to trash the accuser as safest way to show the jury reasonable doubt. The fact that Shannon did not take that route is really impressive. Instead, offered a positive defense, then trashed the credibility of the Lawrence police instead. If you noticed the story TSJ himself told on the stand you might see why. None of that required questioning the honesty of the victim. I assume LeBron understands that by his tweet. So, yeah, by all means grow a set. If you ever use them for anything worthwhile you might end up like me someday, with a 17 year old daughter.
