I v been so many eateries operating without FDA, be it the biryani stalls, Manchurian stalls, I lemon soda stalls etc.. This is unfair for shacks, hotels, etc who get all the licenses and pay taxes.
Some influential hotel owners have complained as it's effecting their hotel business...otherwise they would have continued under the blessings of municipality.
These vendors should be made put behind bars , their bank accounts should be frozen unless and until they give in writing that they will strictly maintain the hygienic conditions and environment prescribed by the concerned authorities.
The biggest biazon pona the officials are doing. Just lift up the things and take them. If goans had to put up stalls u biazon officials would have done dadagiri with us and man handled us. You cannot be lenient with these outsiders they are doing everything illegal and yet these officials are being so polite with them. In other states they would have been fined and their things would have been confiscated. I would have praised these officials if they were stern with them.
Very True,if it was a Goan they would have grabbed them by the collars and taken them with a police force and cleared the place in 24hrs.This is a sweet talking farce and they are being given options and suggestions for all the illegalities and warnings handed out with kid gloves.
Before putting the Stalls, the Municipality should think and do. Your municipality person is involved in taking the HAFTAS. Licence is needed, you give them time. Suddenly you are coming and stopping, it is not good. Municipality Incharge should make a planning before telling them to stop. Where is the MAPUSA MLA and your Officials? Give them warning and then stop. All are speaking at the same time. Wrong decision is been taken by the Municipality. Be on the right track. Call your MLA and decide. He has taken bribe from the Stall Owners. This will no one does, you are responsible.
