    INGREDIENTS:
    * Whole Black Urad Dal (साबुत उरद दाल) - 1 bowl
    * Water (पानी) - 2 bowls
    * Big cardamom (बड़ी इलायची) - 1 piece
    * Butter (बटर) - 1 tbsp
    * Salt (नमक) - some
    FOR DAL:
    * Butter (बटर) - 1 tbsp
    * Ghee (घी) - 1 tbsp
    * Garlic (लहसुन) - 1 tbsp (optional)
    * Green chili (हरी मिर्च) - some
    * Kashmiri Red Chili (कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च) - 1 tsp
    * Tomatoes (टमाटर) - 2 boiled
    * Salt (नमक) - some
    * Water (पानी) - as required
    FOR TADKA:
    * Ghee (घी) - some
    * Butter (बटर) - some
    * Dry Whole Red Chili (सूखी साबुत लाल मिर्च) - 1-2 chilies
    * Fenugreek seeds (कसूरी मेथी) - some
    * Garam Masala (गरम मसाला) - some
    * Chili powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) - some
    * Fresh Cream (फ्रेश मलाई क्रीम) - for garnishing
    RECIPE:
    Take some Whole Black Urad Dal and soak it for 6-7 hours and wash it properly.
    Put some Water in Pressure Cooker and put the soaked Dal in it. Then put a Big Cardamom, some Salt and Butter in it and give it 4-5 whistles and then cook it on slow flame for 5-7 mins.
    Open the lid and take out the Black Cardamom from it and mash the Dal with the masher.
    Keep another pan on the flame, put some Butter, Ghee, finely chopped Garlic, Green Chilies and Kashmiri Red Chili Powder in it. Take some Tomatoes, boil them and remove the skin and then grind the boiled Tomatoes. Put the Tomato Puree and some Salt in the pan and cook it well.
    When the Tomatoes releases Oil, put the boiled Dal and some Water in it then cover it and cook it for at least 10 mins and turn off the flame.
    For Tadka, put some Ghee and Butter in a pan, put some Dried Whole Red Chilies, Dried Fenugreek Leaves, Garam Masala Powder and Red Chili Powder then put the Tadka on the Dal.
    Dal Makhani will get ready. Garnish it with some Fresh Cream.
