I don't recommend letting any anyone store your gold for you. When I was a kid back in the early 80's I bought gold from "Bullion Reserve of North America" and allowed them to store it for me. the owner's wife spent the money and he committed suicide and I got screwed. I would sooner burry my gold in a coffee can in the yard than let anyone hold my gold again.

Coin collections are subject to theft. I just sold a modest coin collection that was in my possession for 40 years just to get rid of it. Even transporting gold can be a problem. Anything can happen in transport. Trust me> ( Joke)

When I first started buying gold and other metals that's what I did. I regretted it after a year. All that storage money that I wasted could had went to other investments. Now I keep everything. Especially if there ever is a emergency in the country you will be out of luck.

People often complain about when you buy gold & silver you do not get a return. The reason for this is due to the fact when you buy Gold/Silver there is no risk like with depositing your money in to a bank account or stock. GOLD & silver are REAL money, gods money. Is it possible to purchase iron coins and bars?
I know that it is possible to purchase gold, silver, and even copper coins and bars, but what about coins and bars fashioned out of pure iron?
Since there’s so many kinds(gold coin, gold bar, circulated, uncirculated, certified, uncertified) all weighing the same, but all costing differently, should i just buy the cheapest possible since gold is gold and the weight is the same?
Not an expert, but I'd guess not because people will value precious metals depending on where they're minted, so a minted bar from a place of higher reputation will go further in a sale.
DEAR BULLION DEALERS: I have a real question. While all the metal pumpers say the physical is decoupling from the paper. Well yes that certainly looks true when investors are looking to BUY your physical as you have HUGE mark up over spot. And all the dealers justify this saying its a shortage and the physical is decoupling. HOWEVER when we go to sell you dealers quote the PAPER SPOT PRICE!!! Bullion Dealers are running a 40% margin swing scamming people with their nonsense and telling them lies. Complete gouging by dealers, and the sell price back to them proves it 100%

@@sibaroochi it's TRUE. Dealers suck. They charge a premium when sling but less when buying back. I will sell you some at spot price if interested. But only if you live in the US or Germany.
Any business will have a markup. The dealer is typically going to try to charge 30-40% about market because otherwise how can they possible pay for their overhead, let alone make a profit?

You can say it’s a store of value or a mean of exchange, which are very good properties, but not an investment.

I'm asking because so many merchants are not even aware of the gold currensy. So they might make exeptions. Like only accepting a very specific brand labeled gold.
@@NicheXCC You can look up most trusted gold brands if you are concerned about authenticity. Most brands will also give you a certificate of authenticity especially if it’s an ounce or above. Try to get ones that are in sealed packages they are more valuable

@@NicheXCC They value how much a piece of gold is based on the weight of it and the price of gold at any given time. The price of gold is measured by Troy ounces and works almost like a stock market. They then simply calculate the weight of the gold compared to the gold value

whats up everybody watch out for Ebay they are charging tax on silver and gold and the shipping charges to. i have just caught this on a new auction i won about 5 days ago and i went back to see if they were charging me before and no just on the shipping charges and thats wrong to. i been calling Ebay for the last four days to get them to fix so i can pay for silver coins i have won but they want fix the problem. so i have reported them to the Texas comptroller to get them to fix and will try to let the stacking community know whats up. look at the invoice to see if they are charging tax before you pay. if so complain to ebay thanks

Gold price today is same as it was 11 years ago - so you loose buying power if you put money into gold - remember they are constantly mining it ever day and you don't eat it or burn it - there is mo9re hidden gold stashed out of sight in order to control the price of gold today .

Buying these is stupid. They don't generate any income, it's a limited and shallow market which can't provide required liquidity and depth for large capitals used in debt markets like bonds, there won't be enough precious metal in the whole world to provide the liquidity and the quantity required by countries. Buying physical metal requires storage, protection and vulnerable for theft and require costly expertize. Gold and silver are insurances and for insurance we have to pay, not being paid.
