I wish MW4 will show more of their personal lives, like maybe a cutscene of Price coming home just drinking constantly to cope with his PTSD of soap death or going to the pub and losing his shit on someone for no reason or something like that, that shows how lonely most soldiers lives are and the dark side of things when coming home.

Captain Price’s character reminds me of Obi Wan Kenobi. A loyal leader with good intentions who has stayed until the end but has face a lot of pain.
Yeah. I have a feeling Price is gonna end up trying to find Makarov by himself to the point where it's literally a suicide mission where his own team tries to convince Price to work with them to take on Makarov but he didn't want to because he didn't want to risk any more of his friends.
I feel like Makarov also might try to take them out by himself could be like the Menendez mission where he’s full of rage

It really needs to be said how much Barry Sloane continues to top himself with his performance as Captain Price in each new Modern Warfare entry.
Early on before MW launched i thought i wouldn't like the new actor but i was wrong he's so much better.
@@Bastion70 so much better because this time all the characters has something about them instead of just giving us random characters without explanation behind them. At least MW2019 introduced Gaz in a way that makes him out to be Prices right hand man and also giving ghost more in depth storytelling than the OG.

@@Deathmare235 I don’t think you know what FNG means because he definitely wasn’t just the ‘fucking new guy’. For one, Gaz was already in the SAS on the counter terrorism role (hence him being in the Piccadilly attack) before Price even took him on board with him.

MW19 and MW2 had awesome introductions, development, and teamwork for TF141. MW3 kinda just threw all that away once I was basically alone for 80% of the missions and seeing soap get killed like a side story NPC and literally nobody in TF141 have any emotions when it happened. Didn’t even get the pleasure of killing shepherd myself lol. Point is, I would have no issues if the devs just sweep mw3 under the rug and don’t consider this story canon

Side Note : The emotions displayed displayed and graphics from this series are GREAT. The design team and everyone involved did some phenomenal work.

Me too, I wouldn't mind MW4 instead of Black ops, Because Modern warfare series started cod.
Black ops cold war was average in the campaign because Bell didn't speak and it didn't fully feel like a spin off to Black ops 1 campaign.

I honestly find it strange that Price has this breakdown at this point in his life. He’s the most experienced of the group. By the time we meet him in 2019, he knows how all this shit works. In his own words “we get dirty and the world stays clean. That’s the mission.” Price in 2019 seemed like the type to compartmentalize necessary evils with protecting the world.
There are people who been in the army, special forces , and such for years and seem fine until later.
Price has never broke down, he’s always been like this
also gotta remember soap was under his watch/team other occasions he didn't answer for the other things going on he was kind of his own thing but with that team its a different aspect and more emotions and connections with it

This is interesting. I thought at first the mw3 reboot campaign was utter trash and stupid because of other videos I saw, and those people make good points. But now that Ive seen this, I now see that there’s something being painted across all 3 games, and how how price changes throughout all of them. This was definitely, a sort of, eye opener, and I appreciate you making this video. 👍
The more I play MW3’s campaign the more I like it, and focusing on the characters and their development makes it even better. Farrah’s character has changed a bit as well. It’s an overall good story, I just wish the actual gameplay was more like MW19 but that’s just my opinion.

In the cutscene after oligarch mission where Makarov and Nolan talk with each other, they talk about even shadow breaks and in the background you can see Konni loading bombs into a helicopter which looks like the bomb in the Trojan Horse mission and Makarov says "if the Intel from our shadow friend is good, you'll be the first to know" which means Shepherd tipped Makarov something about 141
Shepherd would never rat them out also he’s not apart if shadow company he’s a us general, though wish the game told us how they captured a shadow

CoD games usually don’t dwell too much on the mental toll losing friends in combat has on soldiers, other than motivation to kill the bad guys, so I hope MW4 takes some time to explore the different ways it impacts the characters, even ones who weren’t present during the mission.
Probably price is experiencing some early signs of ptsd
I thought the exact same thing. Maybe adding cutscenes that includes something that shows their personal lives, at home or at a pub and how they deal with the pain, maybe by adding a cutscene of Price drinking himself to sleep to deal with the pain or something along those lines that show the dark sides of war.
mw2019 campaign was different...
It felt more gritty and real to me.
@dylanjohns8409 Same. Just to add to this discussion, I think the closest FPS campaign I can equate Modern Warfare 2019 to is the Battlefield 3 campaign. They both share similar qualities: the gritty Middle Eastern setting, the terrorist insurgents that you have to fight, and the invading Russians really make both campaigns feel very similar to me.

This is a video I've been waiting for. I've kept up with the relaunched Modern Warfare story mainly through your channel. I no longer play the games because it's not worth it for me to buy them because I don't play multiplayer or warzone. I'm a campaign guy. I love Barry Sloan in six. So, to see him take the role of Captain Price was awesome. Seeing him decend into darkness has been really interesting. This new version of Captain Price has been addicting to watch.
You know, the character development of price is nuts, I kinda wish we got more MW but won’t be for like 3 years :( I love this mw reboot
Hope Price doesn’t pretty much end up being the last TF 141 character left when everyone else dies around him like in the original MW games.

But you e taught me to look at everything in this game cause it’s all hints from advertising to little stuff on the walls in the game season. One of warzone has him with an all red background and it’s sketched to be all insane looking like a manic red background . He looks like he’s lost it a little bit at this point . I wouldn’t mind price in a Victor Reznoff type role .

price goes alone to finish shepherd to prevent any other members of 141 getting injured or killed. Seeing soap gets killed with his own eyes makes him want to protect the team
Shepherd wasn’t a threat though, that had nothing to do with protection but revenge
I think gaz should have died instead of soap it would have been more of a shock and have more of a impact and give some further reason for price to begin turning even darker. (Regardless it should have been ghost with soap when he's killed as it'd be more "emotional " considering how they paired the two of them more than price and soap.)
In the last scene in the OG MW3, Price throws Makarov and himself through a hotel roof. Hanging Makarov and gets himself badly injured. In that scene Price looses his mind like "you are going to die today, even if it means that I also going to die"
Maybe since Price is in a much darker place he looses his mind just a little too much in the last scene in MW4. Making a lethal mistake out of anger, resulting in he making the ultimate sacrifice, himself.

Each and every single we found out thanks to MW 3 except Valeria and Khaled al Asad (not sure mostly).
I really hope MW4 has Makarov become an even bigger threat, becoming more extreme in his attacks and beliefs. This would make Price “going dark” make even more sense, and give us the story we really want.
Makarov never accomplished anything in mwlll other than killing soap, treating him as a threat would be contrived

It seems they are switching up Shepard and Price mentality shift as they deal with issues. In MW 2 (2009) Shepard goes rogue because following the rules of engagement he blamed on losing his men in the Cod 4 nuke. Now Captain Price after losing Soap in Mw III, has gone rogue (by killing Shepard).
How they ended MW III, I wonder if Mw 4 will have a good portion of campaign like MW 2009 where Price is "MIA" and eventually he shows up again.

I’m more curious about Makarov though, he’s even more angry than price especially since he never got his revenge, price may be seeing red but Makarov would be completely unreasonable and would easily kill price

Tbh... Shepherd had it coming to him... Once a bad guy always a bad guy and shepherd was next to Makarov being labeled as a villain and with that, new rules of engagement, war, and enemies arises...

In mw 2 the raid missions you found out that Farah's brother was al assad. He died in the last raid mission saying that the "real russians" are coming

It could’ve been Price and Ramirez have a falling out after Ramirez redhead co Captain died by new Makarov. But also the city of Muckton being destroyed by an orbital air strike with nova 6 gas. And Price would be against Ramirez going rogue. Going against being checked by world government. Having some task force 141 members and some united anti terrorism coalition members on his side going rogue alongside him. Causing a schism between two captains. This could’ve been the plot for the real rebooted modern warfare iii instead of this. Plus I would not make Graves a traitor. Just a shadow company ceo who was out of touch with his men that they went rogue and was led by their mastermind traitor Rodolfo, vaqueros second in command. Whose goals and reasons are so complicated that many think, he’s the real cause of task force’s downfall but also the U A C as well. Kills Alejandro. And stolen the missiles. As well as a general not shepherd. Overlord would be distraught about the organization he’s working in. New Makarov would seize the opportunity as the Kremlin green lights the invasion of the green sea region. New Makarov’s home region. Home country: Grozovia. Would be reunited with the Soviet Union. No longer as a corrupt Chinese oligarch puppet state. But as a Soviet republic. This would fuel Cordis Die. As well. Raul Menendez finally comes out of the shadows after decades. Playing messiah for the disgruntled 99%. His Cordis die members.
I just wished that MWIII had more time in development so the campaign is longer. It just sucks that SHG was abused by Activision and Shitty-Ward.

Your videos are great, but I'm convinced if we get a MW4 the story won't be related to others, MW - MW2 has nosense, then in MW3 they forget Makarov for 2 games? i think they’re gonna switch ghost with price form the original trilogy where ghost gets his revenge instead. Ghost had a closer bond with soap than price did.

Some of the directing in the scenes is soooo good, just makes it all the more dissapointing that they didn't make the campaigns longer, flesh out the story more and stop forcing the women to be the end-all-be-all comando-leader-lesbians ....
Bro where are the other key og mw characters? Griggs was in mw 2019 but has disappeared along with Kamarov. Sandman and his squad we're iconic and Yuri was a horrible cameo, such a wasted character. Task for 141 was such a menace in the og trilogy and now its just 4 guys and one of them went down like that? Bruh this is the biggest fumble, mw 22 campaign had great characters but such a mid story. And then my boy Hadir was set up greatly in 2019 and they just sweep him with no payoff. We got Hassan instead the worst call of duty antagonist easily for just how boring he was.
