I’m going on in March 24 2019
I'm going with my family November 28th to December 5th of next year. This is not my first cruise because I was on Carnival Destiny in 2006 before it became Carnival Sunshine
Griff & Alyssa me and my wife are going in September for our anniversary this will be our first one
Griff & Alyssa and we will also be on the Magic

Great review! We sailed the Magic a few years ago out of Galveston. I agree about Guys Burger Joint. Great burgers! I often asked for chili fries and loaded them up with toppings. It sure didn't help the waist line or scales when we got back home from the cruise though.

Headed out on the Magic in 3 weeks for the third time. LOVE this ship. Food at Lido is great. Steakhouse is truly amazing, but my favorite is the burritos. Each cruise have met great people whom we are still in touch with and eventually will try to coordinate or vacation schedules to all be on at the same time. My only complaint is last time our cabin only had 2 closets, even though the picture and customer service said 3. Neither closet had space for long tops or dresses. The room stewards were not able to remove the shelves. It was an inconvenience but did not stand in the way of a great time. I don't care if the ports are the same, for me it's about the ship and pretty sure the Magic will always be my favorite.

Wife and I first cruised on Magic in 2012 when our oldest son got married on the magic as it started cruising from Galveston. Are there any things that are unique to the Magic?
You are so kind, thank you! A lot of what is on the Magic is also on most larger Carnival ships, but the decor is unique and beautiful!
Can't really go wrong with any of the Dream class ships! We'll be on the Magic for the first time in a few weeks, but we've cruised the Dream ship twice, I'm sure I won't be disappointed with the Magic... ;-)
Leaving tomorrow with hubby to have some Magic. :) Super excited...this is my 24th cruise so I obviously love cruising. Your video was fun to watch...first time on this ship and what I am looking forward to the most is the spa. We booked a spa cabin and this will be our first time in a Carnival spa...we always upgrade to them on NCL...have to admit I didn't even realize Carnival had them as we usually prefer the smaller ships. Super excited to try Guy's BBQ as you are so right...the burgers are amazing!!! Thanks again for the fun video. :)

Great job on the video ! My wife & I are sailing in Nov '19 to the Southern Caribbean. We have not been on the Magic, but have sailed on the Dream which is similar. really looking forward to the trip this time.....

I'm on the Magic this year for a 2 week birthday cruise - I take that it other than having 1 more specialty restaurant / switching out one of lido deck stations in aft / Guys BBQ on deck 5, it''s no different from the Glory and Splendor; the previous Carnival ships I went on.
We have never been on either the Glory or the Splendor, so we can't speak from personal experience, but it does look like the Magic is larger and it has a really great WaterWorks and a ropes course onboard as well. A lot of the Carnival ships do have similar features and venues which I think is great. Knowing you can get onboard almost any Carnival ship and you can expect to see your favorites. :)

@@TravelingFlamingo I liked it. It did look dated in some exterior areas but I saw them painting at least one port day. Cruise director and team were good and the service was great.
Kama983 a lot of people said how good the cruise director was. I think we are slowly getting sold on carnival!!
@@TravelingFlamingo it's a giant ship. For sure one of the biggest ship at each stop. I think the pros are more food, never see the same person twice, big party crowd to dance with :) the cons are there are lines but they move fast and your on vacation you've got time to jam to music in the middle of the ocean. I think by the time I got off I thought to myself the smaller ships are a bit better as if your looking to relax more. Also the magic is suppose to be docking soon to be cleaned, I'm just a farm girl and my whole town could fit on this ship. So it was amazing big and beautiful but I could tell it needed to be fixed but it didn't bother me.

Taking my family on our first cruise ever. We also will be on the Carnival Magic. I was hoping you can tell me if I will be able to find pizza, pasta and hotdogs. My daughter is a picky eater and I know those are foods that she will eat. Will the pizza and pasta only be located in the specialty Italian dining restaurant or are they included somewhere on the ship? Any info helps. Thanks

Just saw this one for the first time.....as always, a great video! Having been on several ships since you were on the Magic, do you still find it impressive? We've only ever sailed RC and Celebrity, but we are considering this ship in May.

We loved the Magic! There was so much to do and a huge difference from the smaller class ship. We are looking forward to sailing on the Vista or the Horizon in the near future too to compare!
