I use to be addicted to secondlife, and I can promise you it’s really not hard to make friends, literally all you have to do is go to a RP location, a club with live DJ’s/music,
SL is about freedom, as long you respect other people, there is no right or wrong
You will find more people speaking at either music clubs, or other places where DJ's are having music sets. Also live music shows people talk a lot, or look for voice sims.
Some people don't have a mic or rather talk in text.
lol you landed in Astralia for trick or treat line ... Well going with dots on world map might be risky ...as you can really fast land on places where u don't want to land.
They are speaking Arabic and saying ''His hair is nice'' they are saying to their friend in the blue outfit ''If you don't understand English just close your mic'' and the dude was like after singing a song ''I swear I know that voice'' and at the end the lady said ''He's so silly'' in a fun cute way not to bully you

Nice to see you still rocking the hair, if you are looking for people on there i really suggest using the search function and looking for the term Voice or Hangout cause the dots on the map are either restricted areas, bots or places you rather not fall in to unless its "main land". Maybe a good idea for your next video is to try and build something and put it on the market place for sale to make some revenue yourself! Keep up the videos and have a good day!

Lelutka is a store that sells mesh heads. It's the most popular one in SL, that's why it's busy, but people are not there to socialize because they're shopping. They're all standing around because they are browsing the items or demoing them, so they're not watching local chat or don't have voice on. A lot of people do not walk around with voice on all the time because people who do often leave the mic open and you have to listen to their kids screaming or Fox News in the background or something and it's extremely irritating. Walking into Lelutka and trying to chat would be like walking into a busy store at the mall and just being like "Hello everyone!" 😆

As long as you look like a noob you will be treated like a noob. You need a body and head. Be ready to spend about 10,000 linden but it will make a world of difference.

I was in "the line" earlier. I must had missed you by a couple of mins. So, *waves to the new resident Hi. Yeah it's tough on the grid. Been there for years. Maybe try to find a group to meet new people. Use the search feature and in the group tab with the "friend" keyword. Might help. Good luck!
I feel so sad you can never find anyone to hang with. I hope you can keep the good attitude 🙂 and hope I see you in world sometime. For me, I socialize with my sl friends on discord and we arrange to meet inworld from there

Some suggestions if you are sincere about trying out Second Life. 1. Try upgrading your look a bit. Right now, you look like you're there to troll, and people will actively avoid you. 2. Dont depend so much on voice, try typing some instant messages to individuals. I haven't used voice in the entire time I've been on SL, and that's quite a long time. I prefer 1 to 1, or a group chat and dont seem to be alone in that preference. 3. Get the Firestorm viewer. It actually is much more intuitive to use. 4. Use search to look for groups that have a number of members and may have interests similar to yours. Some groups have very active chat.
People are friendlier in VRchat. I would have thought second life would have died once VR came out. Second life tried to build a VR platform but it was awful.
VR chat is for chat, SL is a whole Metaverse, you are comparing a city with a cell phone
@@virtualworldsbyloff That's not true. VRchat has worlds in the thousands. People meet to watch moves together, drink together, and sometimes ERP together. How is second life any different other than some people sell their virtual goods there. VRchat has games and adventure worlds. I've been in scary haunted castles, and ridden a raft down a rocky mountains stream.

@@Mr.Coffin_ According to Obscure Nerd it was very hard to get people to talk to him, and make friends. I expect its because in SL people are just small images on people's monitors, but in VR they're standing right there in front of you. Its hard to ignore people when they're right up in your face. When someone says Hi, its hard to not respond.
@@RobertA-hq3vz You got a point there. SL tend to be in ''clicks'' at times, and I made a few friends. I'd like to also add, SL is an interesting place however 90% of SL users have ''issues''

This makes me sad, the info hubs and almost anywhere use to have 20 30 people always chatting, trolling, showing off scripts and stuff memeing, it was like VRchat back in 07 . just let Second Life die already lol, or make a new one.
