Jim plays Jackson’s, Charvel and Fenders now since they are all one company. BC Rich is a bottom tier company that is struggling to stay in business. ESP Japan makes better instruments which is why Mick didn’t re-up with Jackson or Ibanez again.
@@GearStuffandThings No not really. Guitarists switch companies because of the pay, endorsement, and free shit they get. He would play old Ibanez RGs in the S/T days before even getting his BC Rich deal. As for BC Rich, they did go through lots of shit and were struggling for a long time. Currently however, the company has been acquired by people who want to return it to what it was. They are making fantastic instruments now.

Bringing Eloy into the fold is exactly what Slipknot needed. Playing the songs in the original tempo makes them so much better! Jay was great, but I felt like he sped up the songs to a point where the other members had trouble following
Any other member could do the backing vocals, they're not hard. They would lose a lot in stage presence though, and both percussionists are important out of stage too. If you want to discuss about useless people on stage, look at all the keyboard players in progressive bands playing to a backing track..
@@RodrigoR9 I would love to see Slipknot play as a quartet. With Corey on vocals and rhythm guitar, Jim on lead guitar, Vman on bass and Eloy on drums. (and everyone on backup vocals of course) Think it would sound pretty ok :)
