These are the beta cutscenes from the demo with comparisons to the final ones. These have never been seen before... some are more different than others. to get them to work i had to replace missing cars with existing ones... thats why some are funky

by the looks of the video the test car for cutscene was mitsubishi lancer 8 and chevy camaro
seems legit
no. only a limited amount of car models exist on the ps2 demo. i had to change it to these to make the game not crash
And your forgetting about the RX-7 in the demo that Kenji uses.
1:01 with the canyon music gave me nightmares. Same thing with neville's slogans.
For some reason these NIS scenes make me slightly scared cause it feels like I am watching the unknown. Just saying. I really like them though. Keep it up

I've seen that a lot on race games where the car isn't doing what is supposed to do or is controlled by an AI that doesn't really know what to do

+Akos Kulcsar there are like 5 working car models in the demo. so i mostly just use user_muscle / user_tuner / user_exotic as they work 100% of the time. everything is a giant hack to get anything working so just be happy that you can see it :p

I looked at the free demo available on the Xbox 360 marketplace. The map looks very different than the final version and there seems to have been a lot of content cut from the game. It's possible that the game had a tight release date, and Blackbox had to make the campaign shorter to save time. Also, the modified Lancers in the beta cutscenes were likely placeholder cars.
obviously, since the creator of the video said he had to use the lancers in the cutscenes. they weren't there originally. they weren't placeholder cars.
Cool Cobra 64 it was because a ton of people had to be impatient and EA had to be assholes to blackbox, if it wasn't for them, we could have a career 5x as long (probably) and a ton of more cars

That "Here" doesn't sound like Neville. His voice sound different overall too imo. I think his lines are different too, but not sure on that one.

At the end it looks like the women is a re-use of the NFS Underground 1 animation. It looks like they were going to introduce another women and. What disturbs me is who the hell is in that Camero.
+MetalHead88x there are 3 ai test racers. 1 = exotic 2 = muscle 3= tuner.
nevill is always there so in this case he replaced the exotic. therefor only the muscle and tuner spawned. making 3 tuners and 1 muscle.
On all the final games' cutscenes i learnt that Player dosent knows how to reverse.
I'm guessing that the Neville voice lines were used so that the audio guys could narrow down the timing of the lines.

So basically there was planned to be alot more bosses beside those 4 (Wolf,Kenji,Angie,Darius) thats why most of these clips are played in the middle of nowhere and in san juan, also that lambo that was supposed to be one of the bosses' car (1:06)
And probably alot bigger map ...

GreedyDragon No, it's because the Demo doesn't have Palmont City itself because it's a Demo but the guy still loaded the events since the coordinates and script are available in the data but no City Data the 'cut scenes' happen in the middle of nowhere.
Cars in the Demo are limited so the Demo loads default one's and duplicates of what is available.
Ps2 version uses most of the beta cutscene cause it does not have those face cameos

I'm using shade boost with high saturation for the demos.(it helps with pcsx2 and upscaling in general as things look dull sometimes)
nvidia control panel has a vibrance option that will do it on PC iirc

And i dont use Intel/Nvidia. Too many bad experiences, while AMD/ATI never failed me.

i only ever had problems with ATI / AMD gpu's :V (especially black boxes where lights should be on lots of games...)
How do you get the BMW M3 GTR in career? Whenever I edit my save to unlock bonus cars in career it either crashes the game or messes the save up later. Running 1.4.

+Mateusz Walendziuk there are instrumentals that arent seen in the final game. that belt version from the xbox360 UK demo. there aint any evidence of any of the unused soundtracks ever being used.
