I've had PlayStation 5 the whole time and I can never get the Haunted Mansion side quest. Does anyone know how to rectify this?

No new game+ is crazy for a game that was the most sold last year. Once you beat the game there is nothing to do
You mean like most single player games. Is for people that complain for no replayability that we have so many crappy live service games.
this game is like the first harry potter just introductions and stuff plus having the curses at the beginning would make Sebastian's questline useless then alot of story would be dreaded cause you already have the spell
In a game where the vast majority of the main quest is about a previously uneducated student learning new spells and mechanics, why on earth do you expect to have a NG+? How would that work differently than just starting the game anew? NG+ doesn't work for the vast majority of RPGs for storytelling sake.
you can play again as a new house lol, but ify they definitely need to do something for the new players or at least make a hogwarts legacy 2 or something

“For this one” - na, I’m about 99.9% sure this is the last update. They’re likely full gear into the next game
And that is nice. Not every game should be like BG3. In fact, people keep praising Larian for releasing many patches and updates, but the vast majority of what they changed or added should've been in the release copy of the game. Hogwarts Legacy, for a game of this importance, and by a relatively unexperienced studio, have come pretty complete, round and sound. Almost everything did work out of the batch, with little bugs and just a bit of optimization needed. But design wise, the game was solid and felt finished. The new photo mode and reset mechanic are really the only things that really could've been missed, and now it's coming. So I much prefer they take all the energy they have to develop a worthy and better sequel, than to keep wasting resources on fiddling with a game that has already been well delivered.
Agree, though NG+ would be nice so we don't have to worry about gear
Really don’t see how photo mode brings more life to the game other than playing through actual events/places like quidditch, Azkaban, ministry of magic, or gringotts to make you feel like you’re either in the movies or books.
I would love mods to be available for console versions

I am on my second play through and enjoying it as much as the first. I was not as concerned with duels etc I played it in stealth mode and it was fun. I like sneaking around.
I woukd like to see some new spells in the summer update. I appreciate any updates.
Hogwarts legacy was the first game I played on my new PS 5 at the age of 71. Had not played anything since early 80’s Nintendo and the Zelda games
Wish they'd make all those dang globes useful, other than just spinning them around.
It's laughable because it's nothing but a tiny update that is not worth talking about. They completely left out people who play the game on the playstation system.

@rcash3625 yes they did but the playstation gamers didn't get anything at all with this tiny update that they did which was not worth mentioning. Plus Hogwarts Legacy and Chandler Wood made it sound like everyone was getting an update including that Haunted Hogseade Shop which included playstation which that wasn't the case. I've seen it on their pages stating that to. Which they were dishonest about.
Not only the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quest, but two of the cosmetics were preorder exclusives. They shouldn't've baited all of us the way they did.
@danimmmmm agree they could have at least specified before they stated and making everyone think that we were all getting updates.

I'm happy with the update tbh. I had to change from playing HL from the PS5 to PC as we wanted to download and play newer games on the console. So happy I get to play the shop quest again and I'm excited to try out photo mode since that was at the top of my wish list for the update! Will they update it further? I don't think so. If anything I'd rather have them focus on adding everything we wanted and more into the sequel.
Went on to hogwarts legacy yesterday on my xbox, finding out i can do the fastidio quest and get a shop! Ngl that challenge dragged on but it was probably my favourite quest in the whole game for the sheer creepiness you don't normally see in this game
What I'd give for a multiplayer/co-op or a Ng+
Literally just wanted spells that were shown in the base game, some new clothes, and new customization options.
Yes the things mentioned in the update as well(mainly the skill point reset and photo mode)

I would not rather get updates but instead get Hogwarts Legactly 2 six months earlier.
Disappointed, I would rather wait for another year or more but get real and substantial updates!

I worked so hard on my profiles and I’d love for the sequel to piggyback off of our current progress. Like on my Slytherin playthrough I’m planning on turning in Sebastian. I want to get to play different versions with the sequel to see how things differ with him in the game. Also I’d love to cure his sister!

I believe there will be more to come than just this Thursday’s Update, this is probably just the start of something big for the game this year and considering the team on social media know how far we’ve come with this game and with suggestions and ideas we’ve given them it’s only a matter time.
Surely has to be more to come right!?

Keep trying, you'll get it some day. Every stage of the boss has a checkpoint (or at least it had it for me on pc). As for photomode etc, its coming to every version of the game after you've updated it
At this point I’m hoping that, at least, this summer update will come with a massive bug fixes for all platforms. On Xbox Series X we’ve been MONTHS with seizure-giving light glitches in both the main menu and map.
Definitely would’ve preferred an update that enhanced the replays… I found on my second play through I was “too good” after playing 80+ hours on the initial play through. Once you get the rhythm down of the spells and the predictable nature of the fights, it’s too easy. Definitely would’ve liked a harder mode or something. Still waiting for character interactions to change the outcome of relationships but not holding my breath at all.

Decidedly creepy update, which might appeal to some, but not all of us. Not what I expected. It was really difficult to play upside. And the shop was disappointing, because one couldn’t customise it. Plus where was the opt out option, of having a poltergeist in the shop? After so much hype, I was disappointed.
How will I update the game on Xbox one

Unfortunately, they'd rather make it as a standalone game because.. money.
Graphically it looks like Fortnite on broomsticks, probably so the Switch version can handle it without bugging.

new game plus wouldn't work in this game i glad they didn't do it even late game quest is to learn certain spell Sebastian questline would be useless to do room of requirement you get halfway through the game so if you made herbology build then your stuck for a while cause they expensive in the beginning

one of my biggest criticisms about HL was the story. I didn’t like it and it was just boring. I also didn’t like how they kept taking us outside of hogwarts to random caves and places. Hopefully the sequel will have a good story

I hope for a "Nightmare difficulty" where your healing potions (and consumables in general) are limited, and enemy ai is smarter.
