If you want to avoid a continuous increase of school leavers we need to change our school curriculum to empower our school leavers to be entrepreneurs and be able to have the skills to be able to run a business.

This is strange, Polye says GDP is growing yet, unemployment is rising. And if unemployment is rising it means there is no productivity, these two things UNEMPLOYMENT and PRODUCTIVITY are not growing then, how is the GDP growing?
Again, tell us where the source of growth is and in which sector and industry is employment growing?

Nice points raised and pointed out by Hon.DP, hence also vary technical points raised by Hon.PO
Very vital response from DP, however the treasure should answer all the vital questions raised by PO and address the people of this country.
The PO points about current inflection challenges, who is the main contributing factor for the progress GDP growth, the treasure should point out the policies involved for thus changes, explain and speak clearly on how this policies will affect people's lifestyle for a better, what are the government policies and strategies put in place to sustain the economy and the people, speak plainly and clearly.
The treasure and finance minister should answer all technical questions dealing with economic sustainability clearly and plainly.
The people of this country are dieing in silent 😶

Thanks DP, see if your ministry can change the curriculum and design in a way that can "know & make" educational system. Currently, the curriculum is only design to know and not making/creating and that is why our drop out Gr 8, 10, 12s, diploma or bachelor students become lazy in making their living

PO has raised pressing issues and concerns that are affecting this country. DP what is the Formula for Calculating GDP growth rate. Currently, unemployment rate is increasing and inflation is higher, and you said GDP has increased yo 3.5%, this doesn't make any sense at all but of contrary statement. Is that what you call Honesty when your statement is contrary? Come on DP, do you ever listening to yourself or just talking out of emotions!!

  • @charlotte-tinabere1280

Don polye its not about what has been done before. Its about what is currently happening now. Stop the "I did this and what did you do?" game!
PO has raised very important questions that we are currently facing as a nation.
