It's so sad when we don't just love our stitching project. Maybe try backstitching around all the white to see if that will help it stand out. If that doesn't work, start over with a little darker fabric. It really is so beautiful!! I'm so glad you are feeling better. Since I can't do the 12 starts on New Year's Eve, I'm going to start one that day and continue for the next 12 days with a new start each day. Just a little change that I'm going to love because then I can put in more stitches on each of them. Your mom's Santa makes me smile. It's on my list to get and stitch! Have a great week.

Any time we can spend with you is a treasure. You are so sweet and fun to see and hear. I am happy you are feeling better, a cold can wear you down. It seems Christmas is coming so fast. I hope you share a photo of your tree. I am looking forward to the Ball and your Banner class. Nice progress on Santa, I use Fuzzy Stuff for beards on my Santas. I am a member and anxiously waiting. Your Moms designs are so sweet. It was good to spend some time with you.
I agree I would start over. I just can't be happy with a piece if I am not satisfied with. Glad you are feeling better, get some rest.

I would hate to restart. I have in the past stitched over the stitches, with a lighter white floss to give more contrast. It might be worth a try on a couple of stitches to see if the white shows up more. Anyway, love spending time with you, and your designs.

I think i would restart the Santa. If you're in doubt at all, you're not going to be happy with it. I don't have time for a 12x12 either, but love seeing what others are doing too.
I think you need a restart on the Santa. He definitely needs darker fabric. You wonât be happy if you donât! Iâm glad youâre feeling better and getting in the Christmas spirit. Your momâs Santa pattern is gorgeous! You two are such talented ladies! Have fun at the Jingle Ball!

I would consider a restart. The white was difficult to see over the TV. I enjoy watching you for all your crafts!
Do you think that if you change the white to Anchor White it would help? I have heard that it shows up better. I havenât tried it.

Is it the red color of Santa's suit the reason that the white doesn't show well? If not, start over if you don't like it. đ Good luck.

I so appreciate a quick visit from You sharing what we all know to be trueâŠ..â life gets in the way at timesââŠ..and we have to laugh at ourselves and roll with the ups and downsâŠ.ie workâŠ..prepping for workâŠ..having a bout with a coldâŠâŠ.as a side note White can be the bane of cross stitchingâŠâŠmy advice is listen to your common sense with some heartfelt twists thrown in for good measureâŠ.
Gâday Liz. So sorry to hear that you have been unwell and totally understand how it can stop you from doing things. I had a bad dose of Bronchitis for most of a 27 day cruise and returned home nearly three weeks ago. I still have it, now going on 7 weeks, so I have been unable to do anything, including unpack!! Hopefully both you and I will be up and about soon. Hard to believe that Christmas is creeping up on us quickly. I love your Santa but feel that, if you are not enjoying it, every time you pick it up you are not going to enjoy stitching it. I am sure you will make the right decision. I vote for a restart, you donât care for the coverage on the fabric and the white cuffs are not showing well. You have time to make the gift the way you will be proud to give. Hope this helps you decide. Happy holidaysđȘĄđȘĄ
