And you could possibly argue that the extreme nature of her outfit and actions on the chopper screen were more publisher interference then full kojima, a lot of his formula is missing in 5 and comes right back in Death Stranding including making sure men and women are equally sexualized while neither are objectified for the player

Does it ever blow other people's minds that, by Strangelove's logic, Otacon and Ocelot are technically brothers? I think it's so sad that Strangelove never got to meet Ocelot because of that, I had imagined before V came out that there was gonna at least be moment between the two, where they come to understand the bond that they share because of the Boss, and maybe Strangelove starts to see Ocelot as, if not her child, then at least as family. I just realized how homophobes get around this, because it’s the same for Sam and Max: they claim it’s just a joke, saying it’s forced or a strong bond moment ruined by suggesting it’s gay, and quite literally state, “It wasn’t the author’s idea. Stop looking too deep into it.” I’m not the smartest person in my class but I know patterns when I see one. Anyone who suggest these are facts does not know what nuance is at all.
