It's a bit far-fetched but try to lower your LDL-C, hope you're brushing your teeth before eating (morning) and sleeping, keep your B12 and D up. All the best. Hope you read the comment.

respect to Bryan for his successes, it's an interesting interview, but my apologies - as a few others have said in the comments, this just raised more questions for me and didn't quite sit right. Biology != engineering. a helmet that measures brain activity with light - going to have to walk me through that one. eating exactly 1,977 calories a day and nothing more? not probable. when i hear someone speaking about epigenetic markers or serological markers as though they're an immutable characteristic of all bodies that can pinpoint a biological age, i'm skeptical. coding data in DNA - yes it can be done, but so what? use cases? efficiency & speed of writing and reading that data vs alternatives? what do you do with it? there's something around 22:30 - 'could we build a global biological immune system?.. solutions coded by software engineers.. infrastructure to engineer atoms, molecules and organisms.', i didnt quite understand what he was trying to say, but something along the lines of how we need software engineers to solve biological problems (?). we're going to engineer atoms? maybe it's just the way he speaks, and that these statements have qualifiers and limitations that aren't been said out loud, but it left me thinking that something was off.

@bryan, nice interview. 1937 calories per day is probably close to your RMR. How does this play into your workout plan? The normal hypothesis is that we need to "fuel the machine" to build/retain muscle. You seem to be proving that hypothesis incorrect. Thoughts?

Agreed. Didn't know what to expect: vegan + caloric restriction + vigorous exercise. The data thus far seems compelling.

@@BryanJohnson Hmmm, it was a gut feeling. So to answer you I went back and wrote down the things that made me feel this way. Here’s your answer :) I’m not trying to offend, just trying to explain! :)
If I was gonna try and pin it down here's some guesses:
      - Accidentally Avoiding questions - For example, when Shaan asked if you had any business ideas to share. You said ‘Yes’ but only mentioned concepts/ideas you’re focusing on. Your answer - ‘cooperation’ - wasn’t really a business idea. Then Shaan doubled down and asked again about a specific idea and you again seemingly avoided answering. You said ‘My brain and mathematical theories.’ Instead of answering with a concrete idea this is a concept and it made it seem like you didn’t actually have a business idea. Probably accidental but that’s the way it came off.
      - Tech - I think I am immediatly suspicious when someone is pitching life-extension/health tech. This is probably just a ‘me thing.’ It sometimes falls into the scam category in my head - it is just what this sector makes me think about.
      - Over sincerity - in each of your answers you were very sincere. I liked that :) However, when your answers were super sincere every time, I think it came across as insincere. (I am British so it might be a culture thing though.)
      - Language - When you use language like ‘let the Earth speak’ - ‘our minds overrun the planet.’ - it felt like I was being sold something rather than having something explained to me.
      - The tech behind you - having a background with lots of high-tech gadgets behind you made it seem like you’re ‘virtue signalling’ but for your business. Haha. I’m sure you’re not but that is just the way it comes off.
Not trying to offend just trying to answer your question honestly :)

@chrisbird736 thank you for taking the time to write these out. Points taken. A significant challenge in this conversation was the speed at which we moved through topics. Each area is large and multilayered. Requiring a careful unpacking. I was trying to move at the conversation pace while succinctly summarizing each area which, I can understand would create disjointed observations.
