We have never ran across something like this but were not going to let the damages slow us down. Simon, I bought my propane tank and filled it in the summertime.The first year I saved enough to pay for the tank.Big difference in summer propane prices than winter time prices .I bought a thousand gallon tank .Only use less than 400 gallons a year.saved me thousands of dollars in the last 20 years .Most want to put you in a smaller tank and never stop filling it at higher and higher prices throughout the winter .And when you own your tank NO contract ,you can buy the cheapest you find just calling around during the summertime.

Put the pump below the tanks and you’ll never lose the prime. Easer to pump up a hill than pull the water up the hill. Need a well expansion tank too.

I would suggest getting a bigger gallon propane tank those last a good amount but once you start using it more often it doesn't last very long

Any gas appliance in your house will need to have the jets swapped out in order to burn propane. I had to do my stove, dryer, and hot water heater. Also, shop around for propane. Fill your tank whenever you get a deal on it.
When you lease a tank, you can only buy propane from that company. Better to buy your own.
They don’t listen to any of the advice from the comments, they don’t realize how many professional trades guys watch this channel, they could learn a lot by asking advice from the viewers
@@vadim7590 usually yes, but not always, some places here allow their suppliers or approved people to. I work for a weld supply place with a huge propane tank, and sometimes contract with Froman Propane. Makes us money and saves them 110 mile drive we do anyway for the Welding bottle and supplies our customers need

I just gutted a Kitchen from the mid 1800 and under the floor was a cistern that captured the water from the flat roof on the second story it had a pipe that followed the chimney all the way down the walls were two feet thick made of field stone pretty freaking cool

It shouldn't be an issue if you have tanks that are black or simply don't allow light to shine through. That's when you get algae.
Could set it up so one tank is full while the other is empty, and as one drains from use, the other fills. This way the tanks can dry out between cycles and it keeps the growth off. That's how we help control it at municipal water plant. Chlorine burnout can help too... a time or two a year.
With UV in line, algae shouldn't grow in the tanks

You need a pressure regulator set to 80 psi or else you can damage you plumbing or any fixture attached to it. You may want to consider a safety blow off valve unless that pump has one installed.

for the water coming in, you have nothing to worry about. Your gutters are high, the pipes start high, even if the tanks where against the house, they'd still fill up from the gutters, so long as the gutters are above the top of the tanks. you're not going to have any problems filling them up. Now, a push pump and pull pump is a good idea. Inside the house, you can have a pressure unit that will turn a pump on as the pressure needs it. A plumber can help you with that. Its a common add on for tank or well fed houses. The pump will only turn on when needed to keep the pressure in the house good.

Wicked math type stuff. And I have to say yall would be the first Lambo to race in the SCORE off road series.

@@user-ok9lb1vt8c been here earlier than you are bud. if you have watched their budget breakdowns for each build, they always make sure they "save" on the build. whether or not they actually need that money. its to show their viewers that it can be done. they used to scout parts from scrap yards to save few bucks, but they dont do that anymore. they rather buy more pricey parts to save on time. which means your "cheap" m3 build might not make sense to them. you can however, check out vtuned and his brothers. they often rebuild BMWs.
