Take in consideration that the Mi A2 is a 5-6 years old at this point, and if you never replaced the battery, it wouldn't be surprising that the battery is extremely deteriorated.
It is interesting to see a comparison of the discharge after different charging currents. for example a unit 20 W, 5 W, 1 W. Compare how phones are discharged after them. Perhaps you need to do several discharges, they say the smartphone lasts longer when charging with a small current

yes and those two hours matter for the most of all smartphone user but Samsung is not able to proceed and understand the matter of the fact. next year with the Exynos 2400 in the s24 base model the same s22 fiasco comes back again. they don't listen to their customers and refuse to learn and change for the greater good.
